bottom hose attachment snapped right in half. It should be stronger plastic because it will obviously be subjected to the elements. Went back to a Melnor which is easier to program multiple schedules.

Worked for about three months, then started burning through batteries. Batteries would last for about three days, then the timer would give a low battery error and stop working. If I didn't check it every day to see if I had to replace the batteries (and then completely reprogram the timer), it wouldn't work. I discovered this behavior after I almost lost my whole garden during a particularly dry/hot period. It would be easier to manually water each day since I can't rely on this device.
Definitely would recommend!

Update 5/2018:
More than three years after purchasing this little guy, I'm still completely satisfied with its function. I've used a single set of batteries, and it hasn't failed on me once. I'm here to buy a second one for a newly installed additional spigot.
Our town has specific watering hours, which unfortunately tend to happen when I'm not at home and can't turn the water off or on. We also only have one outside spigot for our 1/3 acre lot. This little gadget is incredibly helpful. It allows me to set watering times for each zone separately, up to four for each outlet. It's easy to program. I used it all summer long on one set of batteries with absolutely no issues. I would definitely buy this one again if anything happened to it, and plan on using it until it dies.

Battery low error, returned.

Worked great for few weeks. Then gave me battery low (and wouldn't run) message. Returned after duplicating problem with the 4th set of fresh batteries (which I also tested)
