I adore this! There is a window you can unzip to help your animal to feel less cooped up, a big half door to unzip for a pup to stick his head out, or a door to open. there is a safety stripe lining the outside which I enjoy as an extra safety feature. the zippers for the door and the half door have clips so your sneaky pet cannot unzip themselves. The back side from the small window has buckles to clip on to a seat belt. it comes with a removable fleece lined bed and a shoulder strap. I use this for my kitten and to pick it up by the handles makes it a little uneven, the weight distribution isn't the best so I put both hands underneath to support her when carrying. I love that there is a little tag on the handle but the window on the tag leaves not enough space to view the info on the removable card. I adore the color and quality of this carrier for this awesome price. definitely worth it.

The design of this carrier is really nice - It's not heavy and has room for my average size cats to sit, stand, and lay. The removable fleece pad is great both for easy cleaning and as extra cat beds around the house (and then the cats are used to sitting on the pads and I think it keeps them calmer in the carrier to have something familiar). The pockets are nice and I like that I can buckle the carriers into the backseats.

HOWEVER the second time I used this carrier some of the mesh separated from the seam at the side. My cat was not attacking the carrier or anything; he just leaned on that side and the seam popped, as you can see in the attached photo. I only transport my cats a couple of times a year, so it was past the time when I would have been able to return it, and the seller doesn't have good contact information. So basically I used this once and now it's broken. I may be able to glue or pin the seam, but I will always be worried that it will have the same problem in another location and that I will end up with a bad situation on my hands. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this item.

I ordered the Large size and when I first opened it I thought it looked like a Medium, however I opened fully and let my cat walk into it. It is perfect for him! He has room enough to turn, and even stand, which cats cannot do in the hard body carriers. It has screen on top (with ample head room for standing) and sides for ventilation, and it unzips all the way down on one end, half way down on other end, and has small opening zipper on one side for comforting them or for them to stick head out (if you can trust them not to bolt!). It comes with a padded shoulder strap,too. It also has adjustable clasps on one side to use your seat belt to hold them in the seat. I like that these are adjustable, as seat belts vary and it enables you to get the carrier stable on the belt and not shimmy sideways as you drive and turn corners. I am very pleased overall, however one note would be that it smells like a tire store (rubber) when first opened and I wiped it down really well inside and out with wipes and set it out on back porch to ventilate and it is fine.

The OxGord Pet Carrier is nowhere near the size presented in the picture. The actual bag received is different than pictured as well. The dimensions given for the large case are close, but not accurate. If you have trouble associating measurements to reality, like me, I've taken pictures of the bag near a case of soda (my favorite size comparison option. I think everyone knows what a case of soda looks like in person). Hopefully this review and the pictures will help you make a more informed decision.

The weight limit for the bag says 22 pounds. My cat is 25 pounds, I figured with it looking so big and being so close in weight it would work. If it was actually as tall as pictured it would have worked purrrfect (had to). As for the bag received, it's not perfect (once was enough), but it will work for those rare occasions I have to take my cat out (my kitty's version of hell). It's very well made and sturdy. The measurements of the bag I received are: The tallest center point measures about 15" high (the top is mesh and movable, but the 15" is pretty close). The length measurement is spot on at 19", the width is 8.5".

An important difference from the bag pictured, the opening is at the end, not the middle of the bag. This actually worked out better for me, I was able to put the bag over my cats head and zip it up before he could turn around to try and get out. The OxGord Pet Carrier managed to contain a very peeved cat who was trying to get away. Speaking of getting away, my cat managed to take off rolling in the bag, so you have to hold on to it, or your bag will escape with your pet driving.

Overall, it's a good looking, sturdy bag. If the measurements listed above will comfortably fit your pet than this is a win.

Jolie fit into the carrier perfectly! She traveled in style to her new home in Charlotte NC, very comfortable INSIDE the airplane. Jolie weighs between 17-18 lbs, 19" long and had plenty of room to stand, turn around & lie down. Openings in front and side allowed her to poke her head out for pets. Great product, priced reasonably.
