Needs effective non-slip legs, slides around counter top too easily. Food slides off lower grill into grease tray too easily.

My unit was assembled improperly leaving electrical wire nut connection exposed and caught in bottom electrical cover (see photo). Unit needs effective non-slip legs to prevent it from sliding around on the counter top way too easily. Grease tray often out of position mostly due to unit sliding around and then allowing grease/juices to spill on counter top. Lower plate has nice non-stick surface and combine with the angle of the lower grill to allow food to easily slide off the grill into the grease tray. This is especially true when first loading uncooked items onto the grill. Purchased grill for easily of cleaned removable grilling plates. Otherwise, the actual cooking/grilling of burgers or chicken works well. Do not yet know how the improper assembly problem will be solved. I suspect Amazon will accept it for return with minimal waste of my time.

I have had George Foreman grills before, but this one is beyond expectations!!! I LOVE it!!! I have used it everyday since I got it!!! It is so easy to use and the clean up with the removable grids and the OXO Good Grips Brush is a snap! I could do a testimonial for this product! It does a steak in 5 -7 minutes. I took a frozen chicken breast out of the freezer and it cooked in 8-10 minutes!!! Best purchase I have made in a long time. I recommend this to anyone, especially if you are single and don't bother with a charcoal grill. This is better and faster!!! Thanks George!!!

I just love this little gizmo! Perfect size for just me & an occasional guest for dinner. I read the reviews and decided to try it despite several negatives mentioned. I've not had any trouble with the plates coming loose and so far it has performed perfectly. I found it got plenty hot to make grill lines in burgers & steaks (I did let it heat up for 10 min & used a spray oil) and it cooked as fast as any outside grill would.
I used the grease catcher provided & found it did slide around & leave a mess when I cooked on the counter. So I cut a piece of rubberized shelf liner & cooked on that & it didn't move at all. I didn't like the grease tray it came with so I used an old grease tray from a previous GF grill & it was much better.
I like the fact that it's light and easy to handle. We'll see how long it lasts, but so far I'm very happy and for $30 bucks I'd buy it again!

It's a good grill, especially for an indoor one. Hamburgers and hot dogs turn out perfect, and VERY delicious. And everything cooks so fast on it! I wouldn't recommend cooking chicken on it, though, without something to keep the moisture in. Though that's probably something any good chef knows. Anyways, you might need to tilt it to be flat when you're loading it with hot dogs, or else they'll just roll off. Other than that, though, it's perfect.

These electric grills are ok. Easy to use. Easy to clean. But not long lasting. The nonstick wears off after about 8 months or so, which means constantly having to get new grills because nobody sells just the nonstick plates that can be removed. As far as I am concerned, 8 months for an appliance is not really long lasting, but for this price, its not great but not horrible. I got the service plan with it and am dealing with them now, because it no longer works as non-stick. The grill being nonstick was one of the major reasons I got it, so when the nonstick part stops being nonstick, then I consider that to be no longer functioning as intended. Asurion is mailing me the shipping labels to send it to them before they pay on the insurance for appliances they sell, so I will have to wait and see how that goes before I complete this review, because the service plan was part of the purchase.
