The 4 star is only about the minimal leaning that can be done because of the motor housing (it grinds on the ground when she leans into her turns)

My niece is obsessed with this scooter. I was a little hesitant based on the reviews and a little fearful she would grow out of this model within a year. The brakes are awesome, my niece flies down the street and uses it daily in the summer. I was nervous about the speed however; it appears to be very fast. I am very happy with the purchase. She also loves the color. It is a beautiful shade of purple.
