Good scooter for chill riding
Romal Bell✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 8, 2023
Pros: Solid tires, weight limit, easy to fold, has a decent speed, bright head light, came fully assembled, and good price
Cons: The battery life isn't as long as advertised, skinny rear tire Overall, I really like the scooter. I'm 6'2, 212 lbs and this thing moves quickly from a stop and gets up to speed. The motor is anxious to go and starts off giving a slight jolt when the throttle is pressed. The max speed I've gotten it was 18 mph. I do wish the handle bars had a wider length, it's narrow, and the foot board is shorter than I'd prefer. The front brake does not stop that thing, but does slow it down to a slow enough speed for me to put my foot on the ground. I think an actual hand brake might be better, as the e brake seems to weak. The only way my scooter will get 20 miles on a fully charged battery is if I put it into my truck and drive it that far. I only use this to go for fun rides with my daughter so none of the cons are a deal breaker. I'm atually going to buy another from this same company, and give this 1 to her, cause hers isn't as fast. It's easy to fold, and un fold, and has a sturdy build. The longest ride I've done was just short of 9 miles, with a few inclines and the battery dropped down to 2 bars. Solid tires are nice for worry free riding, I don't at all mind the rough ride from them. Guess I'd rather have a rougher ride then to catch a nail and have to walk it back. Not too crazy about the skinny rear tire. I've only owned it just under a month and have only done 30 miles of riding, but so far I'm happy about my purchase and hoping the new sooter will be just as good ( going to buy a different model) if not a bit better.
An Honest Review: Pros and Cons of the Scooter - Ideal for Beginners, But Durability Concerns
Rami sbeih✓ Verified PurchaseJune 25, 2023
Hello, I would like to share my experience with the scooter. Initially, I was pleasantly surprised and found it to be an exceptional scooter. However, after a few days of use, I discovered some drawbacks that need to be considered. While the scooter may appear satisfactory at first glance, its overall quality is not the best.

Firstly, the folding mechanism of the handles is of subpar quality. They tend to shake, which raises concerns about potential breakage in the future. Additionally, the suspension system, although present as advertised, does not perform well when traversing over rough surfaces or bumps. This lack of effective suspension can negatively impact the scooter's ride comfort.

Moreover, the front tire is notably thick and sturdy, providing a reliable grip. However, the back tire is thin and appears to wear out easily, even after just a few days of usage. Considering this, it is highly likely that the back tire would require replacement within a couple of months.

To summarize, this scooter could be a suitable choice for beginners who plan to upgrade in the future. However, if you have no intention of upgrading, I would not recommend this scooter, as its durability might be compromised. Nonetheless, for temporary usage, the scooter performs adequately.
Nice to use on bus trips

Great mobility... there were some control issues with the cruise control... folding the device was a challenge.
This is a great scooter for the price

My 9 yr old absolutely loves this. She loves the cruise control and the way you can step on the back to stop. It's a great beginner scooter. I have a Segway p65 for me and love it. If you want the best deal for cheap get this one. Has Regen braking too. She rode 20 miles and had had half a battery left. She is only 75 lbs.
Good luck
So far so good

So far so good. I came from 2 different GoTrax scooters which I bought directly from Gotrax. Turned out both were refurbished/used when they were supposed to be new. I purchased this one because of the 19mph, and solid tires which are a must. To go 19mph you MUST change a setting. It's in the little blue manual you receive. I believe it was something along the lines of holding the Set and Horn button for 5 seconds. Then changing parameter 5-0 to 5-1 to remove the speed limit of 15mph. Then hold set for 3 seconds to save. The difference from 15 to 19mph is quite noticeable.
Pros- Battery life (so far) I will update as my first 2 Gotrax scooters started off great and after a month would last one trip of only 1.2 miles. Hopefully I have a better experience with Evercross
Overall build Quality
Big Screen with lots of options
Solid rubber Tires
Rear hooking system if stable and metal. Not plastic that will break over time
Front Shock Absorber
Adjustable bar height

Cons- Feels a little shaky which may come from the fact that the rear tire is about 1.5" wide. Makes it feel quite unstable
Rattling noise coming from the screen or handle bars
Horn is dangerously low. It's a beep that you can barely hear yourself. There is a 100% guarantee nobody else could hear this horn
Air brakes. Coming from actual disc brakes there's a huge difference. They take a second to engage and don't feel very strong
Very hard to get the foot step for folding to engage. Almost feels stuck, you have to step pretty hard.
The carrying bag only fits the scooter if the handlebars are all the way down. The level used to move the handle bars up and down is one that is commonly used on bike seats and they're very unstable and wear out extremely quick. If you are adjusting this up and down multiple times a day to get it into the bag eventually this screw will wear out. I just won't use the bag.
The location of the charging port only allows you to charge it standing up which takes up a lot of space in my house where it charges and I can't just tuck it away.
Overall I still give it 4 stars. I've realized after 3 scooters, trying other friends scooters, and just talking to people that in this price range of $350-500 you're getting a bottom of the line scooter. You can't expect to get a Ferrari. If you want an indestructible, 30 mph+ top of the line scooter that will have virtually no flaws at all you will need to spend $1,000+
