I bought this to repair my vinyl privacy fence and it's loose panel. The installation was fairly straight-forward (recommend predrilling a pilot hole) and blends well with the rest of the fence. My pasture fence needed some repairs, these brackets worked perfectly for installing new horizontal vinyl 'boards'. Self-tapping screws work perfectly in existing vinyl posts (hand tighten after starting screws, to prevent stripping).
