I purchased the wrong size this one is for half inch material I needed the quarter. But I tried it out and it did work fantastic (on half inch stock). Now I need to get the one I wanted. With a little glue you don't need nails at all.

Not sure if it's the brand, or just a faulty bit, but this one didn't cut cleanly, the joints had gaps, and it caused binding when cutting the wood.
The quality of the tool is fine for the price

The quality of the tool is fine for the price. The cut was good even on hard maple.
My issue is the set-up was ridiculous! I went through a lot of scrap pieces to get the set-up right. The bit needs to be raised just right. The fence needs to be set just right. And the stock can't be more than ¾ thick. All the stock will need to be the exact same thickness.
I was using this to make "thick" (6 inches) hollow table legs without having to buy a lot of stock. Worked great but, as mentioned, the set-up was difficult. Several hours just fiddling with the set-up to get it right.

I finally had the opportunity to try this bit. It works great. Using the Rockler setup block, setup was actually very painless (IMHO). I was using some scrap lumber to practice on and the joints ended up being very tight and reasonably straight (considering that some of the lumber was slightly warped). All in all I am very pleased. I ran all of the edges in a single pass using a 2-1/2 HP router mounted in a table and had no problems, except to say that obviously the stock must be moved at a relatively slow rate of feed. The cuts were smooth. The next time, however, I believe I will make the cut in maybe 2 - 3 passes, moving the fence back after each pass, so that I can feed the wood through at a faster rate. A great bit, especially at the price.
