Very useful tool. Lightweight, very portable, performs as advertised. Two-hand control and a double supported blade provide for much more precise cuts than a jigsaw. I used it to make cutouts in 2x2 pressure treated wood I was mounting on an outdoor shingled wall, and it did the job nicely. I followed the suggestion of another commentator and bought the good Bosch blades, which turned out to be good advice. There are some complaints that the table moves because of the vibration of the motor, but I used the the folding arm underneath the saw to anchor it to my Workmate and had no problems. It's hardly a top of the line scroll saw, so I can't give it five stars. But for the money, it was a good value.

I build miniature scenery for train sets and table top wargames. Most of it is from MDF or thin plywood. This tool is versatile and works great for all of my applications where a table saw or circular saw would be too much. It allows for excellent details and speeds up my processes. Plus, its light and portable enough to take with me or move around if needed.

I own a lot saws but this little guy is great for small cuts on small pieces

it is a wonderful small footprint saw. I am telling all of my friends to get one. It is much safer than a table or miter saw and can do much of what they do. Safety first. Did not actually measure it but it seems like 90% of the sawdust is collected when I attached my shop vac..

I read the negative reviews, and bought it anyway. I didnt need some grand tool nor did i have grand expectations. i needed a compact, portable saw to rip flooring.
That is pergo max flooring, not some cheapo laminate... and while it creates ALOT of dust it cut it without hesitation. (Does come with vacuum port for arm/guard that im not using)
As you can see in the picture, im NOT using that ridiculous "arm" or "guard" yes i have an exposed blade while cutting, but no more so than a regular table saw or miter saw.
I also appreciated the flexibility this unit has provided, although i cant do a plunge cut, i can still do many cuts that i would normally use a standard jigsaw for, but with the benefit of having the material im working with on a table saw.
Bottom line it works, and for $100 bucks, i may buy a couple more.

Update, i use this thing almost everyday, it takes a lickin and keeps on tickin. Great durability. No issues whatsoever!
