After seeing ONE of these for $24.95 at a local hardware store, I ordered two from Amazon. These fit nicely on each side of the front license plate of my 2013 F-150. I removed the 30 watt bulbs and added 4.5" diameter, 100 watt landing lights (GE 4509) with a Eyourlife wiring harness (Amazon) for some long range lighting. The bulb housings are nice and thick which makes them stiff when removing/replacing the bulbs. I had to heat them for about 1 minute with a heat gun making them pliable. If you use the supplied nuts and bolts from the mounting kit you will be ok, but I went with stainless steel hardware for no future rust worries here in the Pacific Northwest. I've been using them for a couple of weeks now with no issues. The factory bulbs will be fine for 30' out or so, and make great back-up lights for the hunting rigs. Very popular here. See my review on Eyourlife. Would recommend to friends/family. If softer housings were used I would have gone with the fifth star.

Got it for a replacement on my MD gold 96 snowblower. Not a bright white light, but dimmer more yellow.(with engine rpm) Still plenty to see while doing the snow. The old one didn't work when I got it so I can't compare.(same model)
