Best mug ever!!!

This mug is my favorite thing at work! I work in an office where the ac is on full blast year round so I tend to eat a lot of soup. It used to be annoying covering the top of the bowl only to have either the plastic wrap (super unhealthy) or paper towel (super absorbent) get all mixed up in the soup. Not anymore! Just pop on the lid and done. My stuff also heats up even faster and stays hot or warm (your preference) longer. It is the perfect size for those large soup cans or the organic boxes. I have also used it a number of times as a coffee mug. This is really my lifesaver at work!!!

No more spilling. This may be one ugly mug, but it's wide base and symetrical design means your chance of spilling is next to none.
This is great for soup and even small ramen, heck I even use it for food like rice sometimes.
For drinks it's not so great because you have to be very careful because of the wide rim. You risk drinking too much too quickly or spilling the contents while tipping the mug towards your mouth.
Just be aware of that, and enjoy!

The Perfect Size Mug for Mug Meals

If you are into making mug meals this 20-ounce size is perfect. I find it easier to mix up ingredients in this larger mug as compared to a 12 or 16-ounce mug which is too small for some recipes as they boil over. I'm using this with the 250 Best Meals in a Mug: Delicious Homemade Microwave Meals in Minutes cookbook and it has worked out well.
I have just one mug but I'm thinking about buying another one soon. The reason is because if you make a mug meal daily you may have one mug in the dishwasher. Unless you don't mind washing by hand which I've done. Just some recipes call for cheese or eggs and that cleans up better in the dishwasher.
One thing to remember when taking this mug out of the microwave is to just touch the handle of this mug. The actual body of the mug can get a little hot. But otherwise I'm very happy with this and will use two mugs at a time once I get another one. By this I mean if I'm making a dessert right after a dinner I don't have to wash the mug in between.

Perfect size for a Progresso canned soup. Love this product to heat a can of soup at work. This mug does not get hot after microwaving my soup and the lid prevents splattering in the microwave. I am not saying the lid is leak proof as I haven't tested it.

I read quite a few negative reviews on this, so I wasn't looking for miracles when I bought it, but I have been very pleased. Yes, it is rather on the large size, but people who complain about that only have themselves to blame. 20 oz is 2 1/2 cups (8 fl oz/ 1 cup). That's not bad when it comes to a serving of soup. Plus, you don't have to fill it up... It fits fine in the microwave; in fact, it's probably no bigger than a standard bowl. It's just shaped differently. I haven't had any problems with the lid, knock on wood. I had a little bit of staining after putting chili in it, but what doesn't chili stain? There was no leakage, but I didn't test it rigorously, either.
