Multiple posts will be given:
Arrival: box opened on both sides but plastic surrounding the mattress intacked, no harm done. Note: when unrolling mattress the flour de le print is the topper. When I went to unroll the mattress, the topper was on the bottom. Had I realized this I would have "˜pulled' to unroll rather than push it to do so. A king was not easy manipulate by oneself to flip.
Within minutes mattress had expanded to 12".
Reached full 4" w/in 2 hours.
I putchased IKEA's metal bed as well as the slats that are curved rather than flat. I add a 2" topper because I like the luxurious cloud feeling but still the support.
I felt no pressure points of discomfort.
Best nights sleep ever! My sciatica nerve caused me no issues at all. Mattress feels supportive but not firm like the floor.
I am 5'5" female, age 52 and weigh 172.
I hope my future husband likes my bed because if not?...it's a deal breaker!..I'll truly miss him. ;)

I finally got my bed! After all the research and reviewing, me and fiance settled on the Gramacy. Okay so keep in mind my Fiance is 400 lbs and 6'4 that combined with my 170 frame and we needed something that could hold weight without eventually sinking in. We needed at least a Queen and something comfortable. According to Sleep.com someone who weighs 350 or more should get a mattress that is at least 12 inches. Any smaller and it wouldn't adequately support your weight. So we were very interested in the 14 inch Queen mattress. The next thing is that this mattress is a hybrid, it has both foam and springs. It is considered to be more ventilated than foam alone (Important because I worry about mold). The bed is softer than we expected and that's the reason for the 4 stars. Overall very happy either the purchase and I have recommended it to friends, already.
Love the cool feeling.

I will update this review over time because it is something that is a long term purchase.

This Classic Brands 14 Inch Gramercy Hybrid Cool Gel Memory Foam and Innerspring Mattress, King was for my parents. They tend to go through mattresses faster than most people due to them being of a larger stature and sleeping in one position all the time. Since most mattresses have pillow tops now you can't really rotate them like you could the older mattresses to allow a more even wear. This was their first foam style mattress.
This mattress comes tightly compresses into a long box. They use special machines to compress all the air out of it and shrink wrap it so that it will fit into a box that can be shipped by a regular package shipper. You will NOT be getting this mattress back into that box. Even though it is compact it is still 125lbs. It is highly recommended to have at least 1 other person to help you handle this mattress. When the shrink wrap is cut the mattress will start popping out so it's a good idea to do it on the bed, which I would wipe off the shrink wrap first, or near the bed. I do not recommend opening it outside or in a garage unless you put something down first. The smell wasn't strong but they let it sit without any bedding for half the day and by the evening it was fine.
The mattress looks like a traditional pillow top mattress except that the pillow top is taller. It even has the quilt stitching. It feels like a traditional pillow top mattress when I feel it with my hand. When I lay on it I can tell the difference immediately. The material is very even throughout the entire surface and feels more spongey. I'm not sure how exactly to describe it, but it's different. I can definitely tell that it's foam.
The mattress is amazing to sleep on. Unlike the original foam mattresses, it doesn't trap your body heat and make you hot. It actually keeps you cooler. Even the dogs notice the temperature difference. They're not normally allowed on their bed and that was no big deal but since they got this new mattress they are desperate to get up there and will stay there all day if they'd let them! We couldn't figure out why this was at first until we realized the time it started. When laying on the mattress it nicely conforms to the body but doesn't allow the body to sink in. Even at their larger structure it doesn't dip in a lot. When they get up it will have an indentation but that goes away.
When my parents were out of town I slept on it because I am in need of a new mattress and was debating on ordering this mattress for myself as well so I was able to do a test run. I slept so well and woke up feeling like I slept well. I love the cooler temperature, which isn't enough to make me cold but rather feel refreshed. I had no aching joints the next morning, which I wake up hurting a lot because my mattress is in desperate need of being replaced.
So far my parents are very pleased with this mattress and they'd recommend it. I was impressed with it as well and am going to buy myself one in the next few weeks. My dogs will be happy since they sleep with me but then again, they're only allowed on top of an old comforter that I keep on my bed for them to keep my bedding from getting hairy and smelling doggy so they may try to kick that off to get closer to the mattress!

I got my Classic Brands 14 Inch Hybrid 48hrs ago and both of the shorter sides have only expanded to 11 inches but about 9 inches from the ends (moving towards the middle) the mattress expanded to 12.5". That is the most it has expanded - will it ever get to 14" ??
I have added books to the "head" end to level it for sleep tonight. How long should I wait to use the PRIME BENEFITS and ask for a return ?

The king sized mattress arrived at the early end of the estimated delivery date window. It was packaged in a heavy cardboard box that FedEx unceremoniously dumped in my building's lobby rather than delivering to my actual door. After hauling the mattress up on my own with a dolly (I'm 5'6" 135lbs), I carefully pulled apart the cardboard with my hands to avoid accidentally piercing the plastic I have read keeps the mattress vacuum sealed in its smaller shipping form.
While I had to let the package sit for 2 days while awaiting the delivery of my actual bed (yep, you get a photo of a rolled mattress standing against a wall), I worried it would affect the ability of the mattress to regain its proper shape. Not the case! After I hauled the mattress on top of the new bed frame (it took some maneuvering to flip it so the top would be, well, on top), I carefully cut open the plastic and could barely keep ahead of the expansion process! The picture of the full mattress on the bed was taken about 2 minutes after I pulled the plastic away.
I left for dinner and by the time I returned 4hrs later, the mattress was fully expanded, corners and all!
Alas I was a fool, forgetting I had purchased a pricey zip-up mattress protector. Almost throwing in the towel, my stubborn nature kicked in and I took advantage of the sturdy handles on the mattress and some basic physics and patience to slowly work the cover under and over the mattress to zip it up, tear (as in rip) free.
I did not notice any smells coming from the mattress, but I had just painted and wallpapered my room, plus just unleashed a super odiferous new area rug. If there are smells from the foam portion of this mattress, they are less intense than low VOC paint (in my opinion).
The mattress is firm, but has enough "give" in the foam top to allow someone (me) with 36" hips and 26" waist) to actually keep my spine straight when sleeping on my side. I rotate from back to side, but as a predominant side-sleeper, this mattress works well for me. It is a little firmer than my former "firm" memory foam mattress, but after 3 nights of sleeping on it so far, I have not woken up to a stiff or pained back. While my mind says I want something plush, my body says otherwise, so we are still working out a compromise!
I am also cooler than on the old mattress, though I attribute that to basic thermodynamics and varying foam density, which is a-okay in my book! It even has the right amount of support for sitting in bed, without that sinking feeling. I sit cross-legged in bed and read a lot, and this mattress seems to work nicely for me doing that! Additionally, I sleep near the edge and do not feel like I am going to roll off, sink in and away, or end up with a saggy-sided mattress.
I would rate the mattress quality as well above average, from the fabric, handles, details and overall experience with it so far. For the price I paid, I feel like I got a great deal and am happy with taking the chance on this mattress. If the mattress lasts half of the 10 year warranty period, then I am good, as $100/yr for a good mattress is a steal.
