Its good. It does the job of soothing out the aches in your body. Only issue I have with these microwavable heated pads is they just don't stay hot long enough. I believe really after 8 mins they start losing their heat a bit. But like I said, they relieve the aches and muscles when first heated up. I only wish they just stayed hot longer. 😔 It would be the most effective and safe item with putting heat on your body then.

I give 4 stars only because I personally didn't care for the aromatherapy smell, hopefully that wears off with continued use. I will continue to use because it heats up well, it's large enough to cover the area I need it to, and it's well constructed and portable. I suffer from severe menstrual cramps that radiate back and forth from my lower back to front lower abdomen. The strap is adjustable and can hold the pack very close to any where you need relief, without anything to plug in. I can loosen the strap to easily shift it from back to front depending on my needs. Also undetectable under a sweatshirt so can be worn at work and reheated as needed if you have access to a microwave. I've heated it up to two full minutes so far and it retains heat for at least an hour and a half that way. This has been a very helpful heating pad for me so far, I've used for two months.
Durable for everyday use and a must have for chronic pain sufferers!

I suffer from back, neck, and shoulder pain. This heating pad is a godsend, I use it almost everyday. I've tried many others and even though they work well, the material inside gets smelly and fabric gets warped or cinged. This fabric is strong and very nice looking. The strap is also very thick and strong. And it smells wonderful, very relaxing!!!

Review Updated. This should have been made with a heavy duty fabric and thread. Instead, it is made of a very light-weight cotton fabric.
After 9 months of gentle, minimal use, the stitched areas have holes and the seeds are falling out. I've had to tape the holes to keep them inside. Also, I think the heat from the microwave made a hole in the edge.
Instant relief! I've used other similar types before that go over the shoulders, but I really liked the idea of having a belt that would keep it on my hips without me having to hold it. It has a wide 2" belt with a sturdy latch. Perfect!
