Basket handle broke

Received the air fryer on 9/1 and used it today 9/3 and the basket handle broke. I pulled basket out of fryer and the locking mechanism broke. It will not lock in place to the pan. So when you pull out the basket the pan will land on your feet. The few chicken wings I did manage to cook tasted pretty good. Need to call support and will update on the progress.
Update: 9/4 Called support, had to email a pic of broken handle and serial # of unit. They sent a tracking email 2 days later for the new handle, i received that handle 2 days after that on 9/8. Swapping handle is a breeze, just 2 phillip screws and nuts. Support was very nice and professional. Have no complaints.

PROS: I used to cook tater tots for 35 minutes in our microwave convection oven. It takes this thing 8 minutes for the same!!! WOW!!! It cooks faster and so crispy! You know those shrimps in a cup from Walmart? By the time you get them usually they are getting a little old. When you get home, through them in this for about 2 minutes and they are better than they have ever been before! It makes them so crisp and the flavor just POPS!!! I cook the Costco corn dogs in this and they are SO crispy! EVERYTHING is better that I cook in this! The Walmart rectangular hash-browns come out so crispy and delicious! I use this thing several times a day!
CONS: It has a vent in the back. Very hot air comes out the back. Make sure you don't put it against the wall or anything that will burn!

I use this almost every day. Does what it claims. In fact, I rarely use my microwave, stove top or oven now. Whatever meat or fish you throw in it comes out crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Things like French fries and tater tots are perfect. I haven't yet baked a pizza but reheating gives you a fresh result with crispy crust instead of mushy like your microwave. I bought the accessories and have cooked green beans, potatoes and asparagus.Yummy. It's so versatile, you can bake all kinds of things, bread, pies, cakes. Only consideration: Great for family of one or two. For more than that, get one of the larger sizes. For me, it's an indispensable addition to my kitchen.

I have been using this almost everyday for the last two weeks and I love it. I put aluminum foil in the basket to catch all the crumbs and I use a spray bottle to spray oil oilve on the basket. My eggs rolls and squid came out crunchy. I tried to do funnel cake but that didn't work out. The only drawback is when you completely remove the basket to shake your food, the timer reset so what I do is just open the drawer enough for me to flip my food and close it so the timer doesn't reset.

This model only goes up to 392 degrees and most fried foods call for a 400 degree or more oven. It is small so you are very limited in the amount you can cook in it forcing me to make 2 batches for a family of three. It cooks thin fries better than steak fries but they are not as crispy as oil fried fries. It did do a good job on chicken cutlets but again I could only do 2 at a time. The drawer is difficult to pull in and out needing to align it exactly.It is very big and you need a big space to put it in. Not the great product I thought it to be and I would not recommend it. Only plus is it is less messy than frying and cleans easily
