Stopped working after only 6 weeks!

I went into my shed this morning and noticed it was hotter than usual. I immediately noticed that this fan had ceased to function. It moves a tiny bit when plugged in, but doesn't even make a full revolution. I just now noticed all the reviews from other users with a similar experience, wish I would have noticed before I purchased this. Failed just outside of the return period. I just purchased an attic ventilator to replace it, that's what I should have done in the first place
Waste of money, stopped working after a few months, can't find info to contact for warranty. Awful waste of $50

I bought this hunk of junk in late December for my outdoor shed. I mounted it and made sure it was shielded from the rain and everything went find until today (4/15). It no longer works. And I can't find any warranty information or any contact info for the manufacturer. Stay away! It was a waste of $50.
A great value at this price

This little fan really moves the air. A great value at this price. Also amazingly quiet, given the volume of air that's moving through it. Much quieter than, say, a traditional bathroom exhaust fan. I've got it in the upper corner of a small garage shop (~250 sq. ft.) to exhaust warm air, and it's enough to keep a gentle draft of fresh air moving through the windows all the time.
It is very important to make sure that it's mounted so that the dampers can open ALL the way. It's much noisier if anything is holding them shut even a little bit. A tiny bit of weather stripping outside of the shop was slightly holding the dampers closed, and probably tripled the amount of noise it made.

It arrived on time using Amazon Prime in my friend`s residence in New Jersey. I brought it with me when I returned to Toronto. If I buy this from Amazon Canada it will cost around $250 without tax; if I purchase with Amazon.com, it cost only $59.99 plus $80 if shipped to Canada.
When the weather was hot, I just placed this FAN in the window of my bedroom which fitted exactly the width of the metal housing. It worked perfectly. I can see dust particles and cotton fibers being drawn towards it as seen with the light coming through the window. When I was standing near the door, I can feel the air entering the gap of the door. When it is snowing or raining, I just simply remove it from the window. With this operating, I felt my room to be fresh and my sneezing stopped.
I am ready for summer when it becomes very hot in Toronto.

The sheet metal on this fan is EXTREMELY thin. You can bend the louvers with the lightest touch, and it was hard to install without bending the box frame. The metal has to be thinner then 24 gauge. The paint is thicker then the metal.
It works OK, though I'm not sure how long the fan will last. It uses either bronze or oillite bushings, rather then ball bearings, so it'll need oiling at some point.
