This is my second fan purchased in 2 weeks... because I was so impressed with the first fan. This fan blows like crazy. Doing a great job of keeping my 8x12 greenhouse cool. I'm going to install the second unit to allow the first unit to run half as much. These fans are relatively quiet, and the shutters work pretty well. All in all I am very pleased.
Great Little Fan

This fan works great and is an attractive alternative to attic fans since I use it in my garage to vent heat out. It moves enough air through my garage and I like the automatic exhaust door closures which work great. I will say that one answer to a question about it being able to be mounted going up was not correct. The exhaust doors lock in the open position and will not close when the fan is mounted to exhaust up through a ceiling into an attic, which I considered. It needs to be mounted on a wall, so the doors will fall shut.
A great value at this price

This little fan really moves the air. A great value at this price. Also amazingly quiet, given the volume of air that's moving through it. Much quieter than, say, a traditional bathroom exhaust fan. I've got it in the upper corner of a small garage shop (~250 sq. ft.) to exhaust warm air, and it's enough to keep a gentle draft of fresh air moving through the windows all the time.
It is very important to make sure that it's mounted so that the dampers can open ALL the way. It's much noisier if anything is holding them shut even a little bit. A tiny bit of weather stripping outside of the shop was slightly holding the dampers closed, and probably tripled the amount of noise it made.

It arrived on time using Amazon Prime in my friend`s residence in New Jersey. I brought it with me when I returned to Toronto. If I buy this from Amazon Canada it will cost around $250 without tax; if I purchase with Amazon.com, it cost only $59.99 plus $80 if shipped to Canada.
When the weather was hot, I just placed this FAN in the window of my bedroom which fitted exactly the width of the metal housing. It worked perfectly. I can see dust particles and cotton fibers being drawn towards it as seen with the light coming through the window. When I was standing near the door, I can feel the air entering the gap of the door. When it is snowing or raining, I just simply remove it from the window. With this operating, I felt my room to be fresh and my sneezing stopped.
I am ready for summer when it becomes very hot in Toronto.

A little beast

I originally bought this after reading a couple good reviews about it. I turned my garage into a mini spray booth so I could Plastidip cars. This fans appears fairly small but does a good job keeping the room clear. It feels like it's well built, there's really no directions for any help. No switch or anything, the fan simply cuts on when your plug it in - pretty simple. Something that took me a while to figure out is that when the shutters are closed is causes the fan to push air in instead of pushing out. Other than that it's a good fan
