Replaced the stock antenna on my scanner. It helps me to pick up stations that I could never reach. It depends on your location and other interference.
Works GREAT!

Great upgrade for the BC125AT really made things clearer and pulled in weak traffic. Same mount as OEM antenna. No-brainer to get this as an inexpensive upgrade.
Just Average Reception

So far I see no real difference over the stock antenna, will test for a few more weeks before I give my final thoughts but so far I see no difference.
Definitely an improvement than the crappy rubber default antenna a scanner comes with

Definitely an improvement than the crappy rubber default antenna a scanner comes with. The reason im not giving it 5 stars is the quality of it could be better. Antenna sometimes bends and has to be bent back BUT it definitely is worth the money for the extra range it provides than the one a scanner comes with.
New Life For Old Scanner

I use this antenna with a 25 year old Radio Shack scanner for monitoring railroad frequencies. I was considering buying a new scanner since it did not seem to picking up many radio transmissions. This antenna has my scanner picking up radio signals significantly better than the stock antenna. A very worthwhile purchase. I definitely recommend it.
