Best Cereal Containers

We have used these containers for more than 3 years, and never once has our cereal gone stale! We use them very often, usually multiple times a week, and they have proven to be very durable. Our toddler has even dropped them on a couple of occasions and still no damage. They are excellent for cereal storage or snack mix and provide very easy pouring. The one side of the container is indented to help you have a better grip when pouring. Another huge advantage is the size, it will hold more than a full standard box of cereal. It will easily hold the larger box of cereal and in some cases, depending on the cereal, it will hold the family size box.
The tabs that hold the top of the container in place are durable and have held up very well with time, and are very secure when closed properly. The flip top where the cereal pours doesn't stay up on one of them, after all the repeated use of 3 years but, that is to be expected with time. Plus it isn't a big deal to hold it open with your other hand while pouring. It still closes and seals well keeping the cereal fresh.
We bought them the first time in 2017 and have bought more them of a couple of times since. We absolutely love these containers and cannot recommend them enough! Do yourself a favor and buy these.

I bought these, 6 of them, 7 years ago. I was just looking to see if they still sell them as my daughter is getting her own place. I decided to write a review. We don't eat cereal. I use them for Costco ancient grains granola, walnuts, pet food, croutons (big old Costco bag). The thing we like best is we use them for hot soups etc. We are able to put it in hot and into the fridge with the pouring lid left open. Later when it's cool, just press it closed. So much better than putting it in uncovered and trying to remember it will need its lid. Then leaving the fridge open while I take it out and put the lid on etc. our fridge is chaos and it is helpful to have soup or chili etc. in a container that is narrow. I have stored it sideways with no leaks. My only complaint is they are cloudy now. But we do use a dishwasher and it's been 7 years.

I have only had these cereal keepers for about a month or so, so I cannot speak to whether they keep the cereal fresh for a long period of time. But other reviewers said they did keep the cereal fresh for a long time. The features I can describe now are: I can fit approximately two and one half boxes of regular size Grape Nuts into one container, which helps keep my pantry neater. It is true that you can see exactly how much cereal you have left, and this is a great benefit. The lid fits on very tightly, which is also good, and there is a lid you open just to pour the cereal out, which is very convenient. One of the most important features for me is the indentation in the back of the container for you to grab it--you do not have to try to pick up a wide container (which would not be very secure in your hand) and steady it with your other hand...It feels very safe and secure to pick it up with one hand, and this is a welcome feature for those of us whose hands are getting older! So--for me, the best features are: seeing how much cereal you have left, keeping your pantry neater, and being able to securely pick this container up with one hand. I recommend this product highly.
