Got this for my 3yr old daughter, because she keeps taking my watch to play with. So I got her one, alsk to teach her how to read clock.

She loves Frozen and enjoys the watch. She's only 3 so I expected it to not fit for the lowest setting on the strap. She will just have grow into it.

I have not checked this watch for function because it's with my granddaughter (age 4 + 2mos.) Honestly, I wasn't expecting much in terms of function anyway. It's a kid's toy watch after all. But I can say that she loves it and wore it all day long on Christmas Day. I saw her "show and tell" the dangling gem feature to a little cousin on a duo call. I knew she'd like the gem! The watch is as sparkly as shown online. I did notice that my daughter placed it over her sleeve, which suggests it's a too large on a four-year-old.
My guess is that this watch won't last too long with the under 5 set, but it might last long enough for a child's interest to wane naturally. The watch is not the most important thing anyway. It's all about the sparkly princess look. Frankly, I don't like the incessant marketing of unrealistic Disney princesses to little girls, for the same reason I don't like Barbie Dolls. Still, little girls do like their sparkle, don't they? They don't require a lot of encouragement to get hooked. I hope it's a phase that doesn't last too long.
