Easiest to apply stain I have ever used, you literally cannot screw this up. I had lots of drips under the rails and assumed it would look bad but when I sprayed the deck the drips blended in. Looks great on a 13 year old pine deck. I used a cheap garden sprayer on the flat part of the deck and a brush and foam pad for the rails. I touched up some of the sloppiest spraying with a brush but I'm not sure it was necessary. I'll update the review after a couple of years or when it needs to be reapplied, whichever comes first.

I did my 16 x 24 deck in a little over an hour. This stuff is simply the best stain and sealer on the market that I've come across. It is practically goof proof. I used a pump sprayer to put on an area then evened it out with a lamb skin stain applicator. The manufacturer says the applicator is unnecessary but I have found it enhanced the appearance by making it look more even. I know Ready Seal claims when it dries it is even no matter what but I've used in past and while it looks nice adding the step with lamb skin applicator just seemed to make it "pop". I also did my steps so I did approximately 400sf and used all of the 5 gallons. I was using fairly liberal as I've found at least for me I get an extra summer or 2 this way.
