This mattress is amazing! Every night one of us says " I love this bed " before drifting off and it is so cool! I am always hot and awake 4-5 times a night. The first night on this mattress I did not wake up until morning. The firmness is just what we wanted. We feel much better when we wake!

For someone, who has only slept on spring mattresses, the change to the gel memory foam mattress was a big deal. I'm a 5'10, 235lbs guy and to be honest, after the first night of sleeping on this mattress, my lower back and hips were pretty sore. The pressure that the springs from the old mattress had applied to my body constantly for years wasn't there, so it took a couple nights for my body to adjust to the memory foam. Once it did, I haven't woken up sore again. This is a firm memory foam, so if you prefer to sleep on a cloud, then this isn't the bed for you. Your body doesn't really sink into this mattress. Take that into consideration before you purchase.

Amazingly comfortable - great price. I needed to set up a day bed in my sunroom for guests and this has received rave reviews. Definitely needed to be aired out (as it directed in the directions) so make sure you let it air out completely before covering it with linens.
