Worthless

This product is worthless. I have tried, twice, to use it to jump start my motorcycle and it failed both times (I ended up having to use conventional jumper cables to start it with my car, whereby it fired right up). This is not a large bike (750cc) and the battery was not completely dead, just weak (the Weego, conversely, had a full charge). Unfortunately, this is the type of product that you use when needed; and when I needed it, it was beyond the date when I could return for a refund. What good is it if it cannot be trusted in a time of need? Since I am stuck with it, maybe I can use it to power/charge my cell phone.
I'm glad I did

Ok, I bought this unit back in Nov and when I went to use it at the end of January I notice it wouldn't charge and my returned window close . Amazon gave me a refund after I could get in contact with the warranty department. I went and bought the same unit to give it a second try. I'm glad I did, the unit work great and for the money you can't go wrong. I used it as a phone charger and to have when we go trail riding. Is very compact, that's one of the reasons I bought it. I haven't jump start a car yet but I'll get there eventually and I'll let you guys know how it does. I gave a 4 star rating before because I couldn't reach the warranty department. I change it to 5 star rating because the manufacturer contact me about my problem, for some I wasn't getting their e-mails.
If it doesn't work when you need it - what use is it? I regret buying this one.

*Edit - Weego rep reached out to me, and had me ship them my unit (they provided a shipping label) - They'll be evaluating the jump starter as well as the clamps - and promise to resolve appropriately.
*Edit 2 - Weego tested the unit, and cited a problem with the clamps. The wound up shipping me an entirely new one, which was tested before they sent it out. I haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. I'm upgrading to 3 stars for the excellent customer service, in anticipation of this one working. As soon as I get the chance to test it, I will update this review, and rate appropriately.
I'll keep my original review up, and will update it with results. If the problem is resolved, and I can reliably use it to jump my vehicle(s) - I'll happily increase my rating.
I paid 154.25 for this item, in December just a few months ago. I bought it as a just-in-case item. I have another jump starter (different brand, MUCH less expensive, but also less powerful) that I keep in my wife's car.
When I received it - I charged it fully, per the instructions and then packed it in the trunk.
The first time i needed it was about 2 weeks later. A cold snap left me with a slow-cranking car, and it wouldn't spin fast enough to get the car running. It *did* crank the car - just slowly. I tried using the weego 66, following *all* instructions, and it didn't assist the car in cranking over. Just blinked its light at me, and same slow crank. Everything was connected properly, terminals were clean, and order of operations were followed.
So i grabbed the jumper from the other brand, from my wife's car (also a lithium battery pack - not the old style heavy ones) - and bam. Started right up, in less than 3 cranks.
I figured it must have been something that I did wrong in setting up or charging the Weego unit considering how powerful it claims to be. I charged it again, double checking every step of the way. I practiced hooking things up in the right order (forget the fact that i've never had a problem with any of the other brands or lithium jump packs i've used and given as gifts). I couldn't practice jumping the car, because after that first jump and letting it run a while, it didn't have a repeat problem. I chalked it up to user error on my part, and packed the weego back in the trunk.
Fast forward to today - my wife's car needed a jump due to an interior light being left on. With the failure still in mind from a couple of months ago - I decided it would be the perfect opportunity to re-test the weego.
Got it out - followed the directions to a tee. attempted to start the car... nothing. Same slow crank and clicks.
Fished out the OLD (other brand) battery pack, hooked her up, and.... instant start. Mind you - I didn't even charge it up again from the last time I had to use it... just threw it back in her trunk and forgot about it.
That's twice that i've used this weego 66 and it let me down. I haven't had a single successful start out of it. I have zero confidence in it, and regret getting drawn in by the snazzy packaging tin. I'll be making use of the warranty, but confidence shattered, i'll also be buying a backup from a different Mfr... Frankly, I'd prefer a refund, but i'm too far out of the return window to get one.
Items like this are emergency use. If it doesn't work when you need it, then what's the point? Very disappointed, especially considering the top-shelf pricing compared to similar items.

Will not start a 1.9L engine, was told next powerful option is necessary
Kim✓ Verified Purchase•December 28, 2017
22S would not start a 1.9L engine. Turning they key makes all lights disappear on the product. Weego states the next powerful option is needed in order to use this on a 1.9L engine in the winter cold. Ridiculous as this is advertised as starting a 5L gas or 2.5L diesel. Don't waste your money or time.
would not even start a minivan!

I've had this for about a week; bought it when my Jeep Grand Cherokee needed a jump and I had no one around; AAA came and used a different brand jumper and I knew I needed one. Got this weego after investigating ratings and reviews online. Imagine my excitement when today the wife's Honda Odyssey needed a jump. Well, then imagine my dismay when the weego wouldn't quite do the job. It got close, activated the starter, but ultimately failed to start the van. And, this is supposed to be the bigger, badder weego for larger engines, right? So, I had to pull out the old, regular jumper cables to jump the minivan off my Jeep, which worked. I'm so sad this thing couldn't do its job. At least it wasn't a real emergency. Will be returning it.
