I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking
Molly B.✓ Verified PurchaseAugust 3, 2023
I purchased these to put on my Max IV 6x6. They are extremely bright but 5 of them only draw 13.5 amps. That is equal to 32.4 watts. All of the Chinese LED lights you are going to get overstate their wattage at 12 volts as they probably measure them at their maximum allowable voltage where the power supplies are less efficient.

All of that being said, I would definitely recommend them to anyone that is looking.

TIP: I couldn't really tell a difference between the flood and spot ones. They probably just rename the product listing to capture all the people looking for these types of lights. The best way to make these a little more flood is to use some 220 grit sandpaper and "diffuse" the lenses. It works great!!
Heavy Equipment
Mikal C.✓ Verified PurchaseJuly 9, 2023
I have operated Heavy Equipment for 15+ years. I decided to upgrade the lights on a Cat 980H front end loader to LED. After reading reviews I went with these and I am here to say that you will not be disappointed.
Pros
- Cost Efficient
- Lots and Lots of clean clear white light
- Vibration Proof (was a big concern of mine)
- Long Lasting
Cons
- 1 out of 6 lights installed has managed to get condensation in the light however not affecting any of the LEDs still bright for now.
- Could use a little beefier installation bracket, I had 2 brackets break from vibration so I had to purchase large washers to make it mount on a larger surface stopping the bracket from breaking, however this never affected the LEDs they don't mind the vibration at all.
- Lens gets scratched easily on front where lights shine through but does not affect the lighting at all.
Summary
I am very happy with my purchase, I have had these lights installed for close to a year and have had no issues other then the condensation and the brackets mentioned above. I read through a Lot of reviews before purchasing and these appeared to be the best. If you are expecting Military or Caterpillar Quality then maybe consider spending thousands of dollars to upgrade your lights. In the field I would rate these as Medium duty only due to the easy scratching of the lenses and the low quality of the brackets which the bracket is a easy fix. As far as the lighting which was the ultimate purpose of this purchase these get a 10-10 or A+ as these lights get the job done and then some. Hope this review helps make your decision easier. I have attached some photos to look at. Update, I have had these lights installed for around 2 years now and they are starting to go out. Mind you these go through a lot of vibration and abuse as loaders are not the smoothest operating machines. Therefore I will be most likely purchasing some replacements soon. But for the price I still rate these at a deal for the brightness factor and that they withstood 2 yrs.
Works Very Good and would buy again, delivery and packaging was excellant!!

Lights are very bright, had some hardware missing and the brackets that aim and allow the lights to go up and down for range is very difficult to get to once the bracket is mounted, Doable and worked ok but would like to see some modification to this swivel bracket and I am not sure what the answer to this would b either. . . good quality lights and would purchase them again I think if I had a need for more.
GOTTA GET EM!

Great set of lights for cheap! I installed them on our paving equipment and so far so good. They are very bright, let us see about longevity. Update: 12/24/18 these lights stood up to the abuse of vibratory rollers and our tool trucks this season! These lights are so bright that other contractors working with us on an airport project said they were outfitting their rigs with these lights. Only 1 light had the bezel come off, but it was because an operator banged machine against a wall hitting corner of light. Nevertheless light still worked. Read other comments about noise coming from lights, I've installed a total of 24 of these on different types of equipment and never experienced noise. These lights really saved us at 1oclock am in the middle of a newly constructed taxiway.
Bright, but not 48Watts
Francis Moore✓ Verified PurchaseJune 17, 2023
Bright, but not 48W or even close to it. I measure 1.82Amps input at 20.1Volts on each light plus or minus 0.01Amps. That's less than 37W. But they do seem reasonably well constructed, and they are very bright still. For the price ($31), I would recommend them, but understand exactly what you are buying. I used the pair on a spare halogen work light tripod and easily replaced a 500W halogen with both lights turned on. Overall I am very happy with the purchase, but taking off a star for the inaccurate product description.
