Works well with Ubuntu
Radar Dude•August 16, 2017
Works great on my Ubuntu Linux system using USB port /dev/ttyUSB0 (or /dev/ttyUSB1, etc). Not necessary to install any new driver with this OS. Works well with Arduino Create. Well constructed. Shipped in a little anti-static envelope with the pins protected by insertion into a small block of polystyrene (?) foam. The USB cable is "exactly" one-foot in length, including the lengths of the connectors. This is a short cable - just be aware of the length.
These Arduino Nano are the best. It works error free

These Arduino Nano are the best. It works error free. I am using one of them to build a Logging Switch - can't be found out there. This supper inteligent switch gets it brain from the Nano. The switch controls an Electrical Heating System that I used to replace my Church Boiler. I substitued Marine batteries + a Generator + a windmill and got off the Grid. Somewhat pricey but no Heating bills any more!!!! in the winter. The actual Heating System Brain (an Arduino Mega) is switched between the batteries and generator. The switching with all activities logged is done by the Arduino Anano!! It's GREAT for this application - 5 STARS!
Solid and nicely designed.

Sweet little breadboard-able board. Great little Nano clone - no problems getting to work immediately. Worked great for LED lights. I even powered a 50 LED strip (testing phase only) from the 5V rail and it worked fine.
Great Nano. Comes with boot loader already burned

Even More than a Uno, but much smaller and ready for prototyping!
Eric C. Anderson•April 3, 2017
This is an amazing little board! It essentially includes the entire Arduino Uno plus extra I/O pins (because the surface-mount package has more pins on it than the DIP package used in the Uno). This unit is designed to plug into a development or prototype board, and can also be directly soldered to a PCB or plugged into a set of strips acting like a socket. It comes with a very short USB programming cable.
At the amazing price this goes for, it is a steal, and an amazing little piece of technology!
