When I bought my Galaxy S8 phone, I didn't give much thought to the fact that it allows wireless charging. I bought one of these to give it a try anyway. It's a great feature and this little charger does just fine so I bought two more so now I have three - one by my bed, another in the kitchen, and the third in my office. But mine doesn't look exactly like the picture here; they are a rounded triangle instead of a circle, like the rotor in a Mazda rotary engine.
So now I am a fan of cordless charging and feel underprivileged when I have to plug it in in my car or truck.

12/2/17 Update note: The wireless charger in the picture is not the same one I ordered/received. Apparently they have changed. My review is for a totally different looking charger. Still like my charger.
I adapted my Samsung Galaxy 3 to accept inductive charging and this unit worked well.
I just updated to the Samsung Galaxy 8 Plus and this unit easily charges the new phone at normal charging speed. It works fine without removing the thin case. No heating issues.
However, since the SG8P has fast charging technology, I am updating the inductive charger. This charger still works fine for normal inductive charging so it is nice to have as a backup.
I like the shape and size of this unit. It is easy to stick in a side pocket of my travel bag. I haven't had any issues trying to find the sweet spot on either of my phone's. It grips the phones well.
Just remember, this is a lower output charger and only charges at normal charging speeds. Get the appropriate adapter, cable and charger for your phone/battery.

This worked perfectly for about a month, but the connection between my phone and the charger has been getting weaker and weaker since then. When I place my phone on the pad, it flickers between connected and not. Sometimes if I move my phone around on the pad, I'll find the sweet spot, but then halfway through charging it will start flickering again. In the end, my phone usually ends up with a full charge, so I'm giving 3 stars because it does its job.
6 month update: barely works anymore. It takes me 5 minutes to find the sweet spot where my phone will connect for longer than a second, and sometimes it will still just spontaneously disconnect a few minutes later. Every morning when I wake up, it's a gamble whether or not my phone has charged. You get what you pay for, I guess. If you need a cheap charger to get you through a short period, this thing will do the job.

This is my second Qi wireless charging pad. It works perfectly although sometimes get slightly warm but never hot. Quick charge as in fast. Did I say fast? The indiscreet LED light which indicated charging and end of charging is a nice touch. Yootech did deliver this product with quality and durability.
No regrets, no remorse, no complaints. This is one of 4 Qi wireless chargers that I have now. It is oddly shaped as all the others are round. I placed this next to the other chargers to compare the effectiveness and quality of charge and has performed toe to toe compared to the competition. I'm keeping this one for its unique triangle shape. The price is similar to the others that I bought and I am very satisfied with it. The inner pad by the way is sort of rubbery in texture and surely helps to keep the phone in place for charging.
UPDATE: This is one of my now 5 chargers placed strategically around the house. I purchased this about a few weeks now and is still doing its job. I know that there are some fancy ones that shows bright colors when placing the phone. Those things are nice but you want your phone to be fully charged at the same time. This product is stealth as in having a light detector to show if its charging, the phone will also tell you that so no exaggeration needed for the wireless charger to "scream" charge. By the way, the shape starts to rub on me in a positive way.
