Buy a quality Fujitsu ix500 scanner instead

Neat is all marketing, and not much in the well designed product category. I had this scanner for a bit and then it stopped feeding correctly, so I had to scan only 8 pages at a time, then it started chocking on one piece at a time. I tried to contact Neat about a replacement part, and if it is out of warranty, they won't help you at all.
Additionally their software product is terrible, and the push to the web product that isn't any good (and a LOT of steps back from their installed product. It is attrocious.) Shame on them for trying to suck more money out of you.
Pick up a Fujitsu ix500 ScanSnap and Paperless software, and you will be in a MUCH better place, without all the headaches.

If only there was a choice for negative 5 stars, then I would have given it to both the product and customer service. Used the product x 2.5 months then IT stopped turning on! There is no customer service AT ALL. I had to dig it in from Google but when called it says if purchased more than 60 days and answer yes it will say "Good Bye". If you say no then refer you to the web signup and say "Good Bye". DO NOT BUY. BEFORE YOU BUY CALL THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT (866)632-8732 DOES NOT MATTER IF YOU GIVE A RIGHT EMAIL ADDRESS OR NOT IT CAN'T FIND YOUR NEITHER BY EMAIL NOR BY PHONE. DO NOT BUY.
