My son has type one diabetes and we needed help measuring carbs, especially fruits and vegetables. It has been an absolute life saver when it comes to things like apples and bananas that always come in different sizes. The code book is awesome! So many food codes in it. I also use it to weigh small crackers instead of counting them each one by one. I can't live without this thing!

I am a type 2 diabetic and this makes food choices much easier. I put the food on the scale, enter the food code and all of the nutritional values show up on the side. My only complaint is that the numbers are a little small for old folks like me.
