Bought as a direct replacement for what I had that was 8 years old. This works fine.
Lower quality replacement switch than my original low quality switch

The face of the product looks just as described and on the surface looks like a direct replacement for my existing heater switch. I was very delicate when i replaced the switch. Once i swapped in this new switch, it didn't work. Upon inspection there was a manufacturer error and the black ground wire was never soldered to the switch board inside the switch housing. In fact, the wire just fell out of the small hole with the resistor attached. I tried pushing the wire back in, it obviously didn't stick but would temporarily provide a connection, confirming this was the only malfunction on the switch. My original switch had this wire glued to the switch casing, to avoid any force acting on the resistor and the small wire it's attached to. This new one only had a small piece of heat shrink, which is not a replacement for an actual glued connection.

You know when you get in your truck, and it's super cold outside, so you flip on the seat heater only to have the switch not work? It's horrible! I know, first world problems. But still... Problem solved!! The seat heater switch is working like a charm!!
