Bad For my Bones

Liked at because it was useable without having "toxic" odors so many mattresses have. Loved it because I thought I'd finally be able to get up off the floor and get sleep on a bed that was safe. Had it almost a year. Developed problems in hips/back shoulders/ and ribs impacting other parts of my body. Realized I could feel the springs in the mattress, but did not know it would harm me. But it has. Disappointed because once again I am searching for something I can tolerate, for as now I have no where to lay my head as my body parts have many problems now associated directly to the "not enough buffer" between the coils and me. Otherwise this would have been a great mattress. I did buy a second one a few months later after I had bought mine (he is chemically sensitive as I am) and the other person is having no problems that he is aware of with the springs. He weighs a lot more than I do, and has lots more padding on his bones, don't know if that's why he can't feel the springs in the mattress, or if I just got one that just plain was not covered enough to prevent them from bringing harm.

I bought this mattress to use as a day bed. I like reading laying down, or at least w my feet up, and this fits the bill.
It is really springy, not dead like memory foam (which I don't like). There is not a lot of padding but it really is 8" thick! A good mattress pad would make it perfect for sleeping.

I use this on my day bed. It is very firm which is exactly what I need for back issues. It is also very comfortable. Don't let the price fool you. It is a nice little mattress! I would like it to be a little deeper. But I chose this over another deeper mattress at this time. And it arrived much sooner than the expected delivery date and about a week before the mattress pad!

I like a firm mattress, but this is ridiculous. I figured the springs would develop a little bit of flex with use so, but it's been over a year, now, and the they haven't softened up at all (and I'm weighty). This mattress may be a step up from sleeping on a carpeted floor, but not by much.
