Large perch diameter for larger bird on Small version!

1. Easy to screw together!
2. Size Small Perch is too big for larger parrots ( Pionus, small Amazon)
3. Real, sanded wood! Easy on bird feet!
4. Cups are optional. I put a toy in one and did not use the other.
5. Bird litter easy to use in base to catch droppings.
6. Branches also Optional. Small birds won't be able to climb them. Pionus can with effort.
7. My bird was instantly comfortable with this! Except he can't grip the large diameter top perch.
8. Can carry from room to room.
9. Reasonable price!
10. Very adjustable!
EDIT: 3 months later the top perch fell off! No longer usable. The hole connection is too big. Worsens with time. :(

After opening the box there was a very strong chemical smell coming off of the product. I rinsed it off in the shower before even thinking about giving to my bird, surely enough a brown film came off the wood. I don't know what that is, but it did not smell like wood until after I washed it. Whatever it was it heavily irritated my eyes, glad I cleaned it before handing it to my feathered friend.

Looks exactly as pictured. My Crimson Bellied Conure baby seems to enjoy it. I put him on the perch next to where I work so I can give him the attention he needs which is exactly why I bought this. He likes to sit in the bowls. So I usually remove one to give him more room which is very easy as it just unscrews from the perch. It's light and portable so I can move it around the house if I want. Wish it was slightly bigger; if I could give it four and a half stars I would.
