This is the best literally the best air humidifier ever!! I've had not much luck in the past with others getting moldy and gross or breaking this one there is no nasty sponge finger it's a great Little Rock filter design no bacteria or grossness! Has super easy setting to put as low or high as you want can also easily turn the top little nob to point where exactly you want the air to go! Also super easy to re fill with water couldn't get easier!
I also love how inside on the side of where you fill water they clip on a small little brush for you to help clean the small areas when you want!
Other than how great the machine is! I am someone that has horrible allergies all season long and I also have horses so get exposed to even more dusts and hays and have super dry nose this has helped so so much! I don't want up stuffed anymore. My allergies don't bother me as bad, easier to fall asleep now! And no more dry nose!

I first purchased this exact model and color when it first came out 6 or more years ago and was sold on QVC for significantly more. I decided to replace my old one because it had a moderate amount of crusty mineral buildup and some black substance around parts of the base that I didn't want or know how to clean. It still worked well, I just wanted a clean start and figured I already got the value of my money out of it since I use it every day for the comfort of my dry eyes as recommended by my optometrist. When I read the information booklet that came with the new one, I realized that I should have been cleaning parts of it with white vinegar periodically to remove the mineral buildup so that it wouldn't end up like mine. If I had read the directions, I wouldn't have needed to buy a new one.
I have purchased several humidifiers in the past and this one is by far my favorite. Mine is completely silent (unlike the noisy cheap one I purchased at a large drugstore chain that was so loud I couldn't sleep through it at night). Before buying this model, I came to regard the others as "white noise" as I adjusted to the sound.
This model doesn't need to be refilled daily either. I keep mine turned up to around the mid setting and it lasts about 3 days or more. I also like that it has a narrow window so that you can see the water level to judge when it is starting to get low. I purchased another humidifier made by this company that had a broader window on each side and it didn't look as clean and attractive because the window area showed too much condensation.
With regard to white dust, I have a little white dust near the unit but it is significantly less than I had with other models and I don't mind wiping the surface around the unit every few days because it's cheaper and less effort than buying and lugging around bottles of distilled water. (I didn't purchase any additional parts recommended for hard water.)
I am very happy with this model and was overjoyed when I saw that the company did not change or discontinue it. I think that speaks well of it's reliability and popularity among customers.

My daughter is asthmatic and at night she coughs most of the nights and here in Puerto Rico we get a lot of Sahara dust and the doctors recommended a Humidifier because all the dryness and dust and bacteria are part of the problem.

I decided to try this Humidifier and has help me a lot with my daughter sleep. Since the first day she started sleeping much better and no coughs. The description says un to 70 hours but I decided to leave it at full power when I went to work and the full tank work for 20 hours. All depends the power you use you can get the 70 hours but at full power thats the amount of hours you'll get.

Is very easy to assemble and when filling it with water there is no leak even if you turn it. First time took 10 minutes to get working but after that starts working immediately. The filter says is for life but is recommended to change it every 6 month.

This humidifier works well. I use it at night in my bedroom and it's effective in preventing my skin and sinuses from drying out too much during the winter. It's very quiet except the occasional sound of water sploshing around in the tank. I am pretty disappointed, however, that the color looks nothing like the photos. The photos make it look almost lavender and quite cute. The actual product is a dull, depressing grey. For accurate color, watch the video or check out the reviewer photos. As others have stated, it's also kind of annoying that it can't lay flat on a counter while filling it because of the slanted top. You gotta hold it and fill it at the same time.

I like it! Been running non-stop for a few weeks during our dry winter and so far all is good. This is my second Air Innovations medium-sized unit - the first worked well for probably five years or so, so I trust the company. I love the style and the gray color, the window to see water level, and it's pretty quiet. Great size for our small house, easy to fill and carry for this wimpy, short girl! Price is good compared to similar. Took away one star overall for the slanted design of the top because I can't set it flat on the counter to screw the filter back in the unit once filled - looks nice, not practical. Also, had to get used to removing the little part on top (that directs the mist) before turning over to fill - little bit went flying the first few times. Overall, very happy with it and recommend for style and functionality.
