I've been through many gauges trying to find one that is accurate, easy to read and can be used on my bicycle, mower, motorcycles, cars and a large pickup truck (requires 65 PSI). This one is the best I've found. Only reason that it's not 5 stars is, I wish someone would create a device to provide and easier, more reliable seal to the valve. Once you get this one at the right angle though, it does fine. Also, the measurements are in .5 pound increments. My my previous us one was in .1 increments. It was probably not that accurate anyway and I guess .5 PSI is close enough. The display is easy to read. The angle and size are good for access to the valve on most any wheel. The light is bright so when used at night, there's no need for a flashlight.

All the other brand digital tire guages I've had lose calibration after a while and read either too high or too low.
Get yourself a reference guage to check against.
Units like these need to come with a protective carying case to prevent against shock.
I got an eyeglass case and put soft foam in it to store this unit in.
This unit is so new, there is no real judgement of it by looking at the reviews.
Check back in 6 months and look at the reviews, then make your decision.

This is one handy little tool, especially for a single female like me, who needs stuff like this to be uncomplicated and easy to use. All you do is push the "trigger" button, choose which type of pressure you want to read out (European, or U.S. psi). Press it firmly against the uncapped tire air valve for just a second and - voila - you have a clear digital readout of what the pressure is! I love it! I am experiencing some corrosion on my aluminum wheels which causes my tires to lose air (no surprise up here in Michigan), and I'm not ready to replace the wheels and tires just yet. So this, along with my handy little tire air pump, helps to keep my tires where they should be, without having to fight the air machine at the gas station. I think this is a much easier type of pressure gauge to use - you don't have to look at the little dial and try to read where the pressure is before removing it from the tire. You can take this one off the tire and the readout will still be there for you, a giant plus in my book!

Nice size and vivid color that stands out in your tool box. Have given up on dial and slide type gages. Digital not only has the edge on accuracy but has features not offered by "old fashioned" gages. Illuminated reading, (and this has the best); and a work light capability. This little cutie is accurate, has a bright green led to guide you to the valve stem, and a bright easy to read numerical display in the medium of your choice-PSI ,BAR, KPA, KGF/CM2. No more squinting to read in bright daylight or dark. Also a convenient hole in the handle for hanging an a nail or your key chain. Have this gage, a TEKTON 5941, and an Accutire-MS4021B,and several dial and slide gages. The three digitals are dead even on readings and I believe most accurate. Of the three the NorthOne has best features and is my favorite. With tire prices as high as they are you can't afford to ruin one because of an inaccurate gage.

I was looking to replace my long life Michelin metal tire gauge that has a lighted display but not a lighted tip. I bought this because it has a lighted tip making it easier to find the valve stem and has a green display thinking it is easier to see in the dark than a blue display like the Tekton 5941 which I also bought at the same time. This one is easier to see than the Tekton blue display and I wear bifocals and am near 60 years old. Both of these are very solid and have automatic shut off in about 30-35 seconds which I love. The green display makes it both easier to find the valve stem and read the numbers. And yes, subsequent uses before it shuts off will yield a new reading; it will not just hold the last reading. Both this and the Tekton worked the same way. My old Michelin did not respond to further readings; it held the last one no matter what. The battery is a standard 2032 battery available anywhere and is not hard to replace.
