The first clock I received was cracked. Amazon sent out a replacement. The instructions suck plain and simple. So you have to take some time to learn the clock despite the instructions. I had trouble keeping the clock on. It kept turning off and I couldn't figure out how to change to "off SD" from the instructions. I looked at reviews and others had the same issue and I found the answer in a review. You press the down button once and you get the option to turn off/on. The time display is dimmer than the RH and temp display. Not sure what that is about but I'll see how it does for a few days. It's $20 so it's not a Chopard. Update: Had replacement clock for two days. Display would turn off after a few minutes. Used adapter thinking it was batteries. Nope. Display kept going off. The "off SD" was active so it should not do this. Returning.
