Everyone in our family told us that our 7 year old would "grow out of it" and that it was foolish to "waste money" on the product and program. As you can imagine, the first couple weeks were difficult with the moisture alarm going off at random times and my husband and I feeling like a NASCAR crew changing the bedding at 3am"¦.But the confidence and determination that came from my daughter was worth it alone! She was dedicated to the exercises and the sessions with Dr. Sadie and the goal of earning stars on her chart (even though we had tried a star chart before). The whole thing took about 10 weeks for us and she hasn't had an accident since completing the program!

The combination of the alarmed mat, calendar, exercises, and encouragement videos just worked for my daughter. She is a very deep sleeper and was wetting the bed most nights. We could see an improvement within the first month and she continued to improve to where she's no longer wetting the bed. Cleaning and drying the mat in the middle of the night is a challenge, but entirely worth the results for us.

So my son was 7 years old and still wetting the bed. I kept waiting for him to grow out of it, and was taking advice from the internet: he will grow out of it, wake him up at night and walk him to the toilet once a night. But things were actually getting worse. He started peeing TWICE a night. My quality of sleep was terrible - I was getting up to either walk him to the bathroom or helping him change out of his pee soaked clothes. I was washing sheets all of the time. An ad came up on my FB feed for therapee and I still dragged my feet because I am kind of cheap (frugal?lol). I finally bought it. On the first week of using it, he went from peeing twice a night, to peeing once a night or actually having dry nights here and there . It was amazing. That said, it was not a quick road for us. It took a total of 7 months for him to graduate from the program. But graduate he did. I feel sure if we hadn't done this program, he would have been wetting the bed for years to come. We still make sure he doesn't drink too much after 7pm and definitely none of which are liquids with refined sugar, such as icecream. But he is dry every night now. We are no longer slaves to the bedwetting. We can go on trips and not worry about the hotel bed. Finally, I am getting to sleep through the whole night without changing sheets or walking him to the bathroom at midnight. Thanks to this product, we have had a drastic quality of life improvement. My son is so proud of himself as well because he was started to feel very embarrassed about it. I was hoping I would one day be here on Amazon writing a glowing review because it worked. And now, here I am, because it has! GOD BLESS Dr. Sagie and the work he is doing to help families with this issue. I am frugal, but boy this was money VERY well spent. 100% recommend.

My daughter is 6 years old and she had never been dry a night in her life. We tried all the old methods: waking her up multiple times a night, reward charts, etc. Absolutely nothing worked. She is such a deep sleeper that she would wet the bed or her pull up and never wake up.

We started using the therapee mat on April 26th and on that night she had 3 accidents (we tracked using the online calendar). She continued having accidents the next couple of nights, but her first dry night was on April 30th. Only 4 nights later! She had sporadic accidents over the next couple of weeks, but usually because we were out of routine. Today is July 3rd and she hasn't had an accident in over a month, despite being very out of routine because of the summer. She has now had her first friend sleep over and we even went on a vacation where her bed was separate and she had to walk downstairs to the bathroom. She did amazing, no accidents the whole time. My husband and I still can't believe the results from this thing.

I will say the first couple of times the alarm went off, she was terrified and woke up screaming. We felt really bad and questioned if we should keep doing it, but we stuck with it and ultimately I think purchasing this alarm was the best decision we could have made for her and for us.

Things we found helpful: I read another reviewer's tip to use/purchase larger pillowcases and just put the mat inside of those so that you don't have to change all of the sheets every time. We did that and then put a potty training mat from Target (Amazon sells them too) under the pillowcase so that we didn't have to change/wash the fitted sheet and mattress protector every time. This was such a time and sanity saver, especially at 2 AM. We also had a small fan that we kept in her room and used it to dry the mat to ensure that it was completely dry before connecting it again.

The price is definitely a bit of a sticker shock, but we were able to use our HSA account, and that was really helpful.

Would recommend this product to everyone. My 7YO son was a very heavy sleeper and everything we tried didn't work. Within the first month of using this pee mat, he went from wetting the bed every night to once a week. By the second month we went from once a week to twice a month. He was completely dry by the end of month 3. He is sleeping so much better and is a lot more confident now too. Well worth the money spent!!!
