Beautiful but still pretty disappointed

This is a beautiful cane with one caveat, it's really weak. PCP rates this cane on their website with a 300 lb weight capacity. When I received the cane, the paperwork said it had a max weight capacity of 250 lbs. There is no way this cane could even support 250 lbs, it has an extreme amount of flex with very little weight applied, just my arm slightly pushing down on it. This is made by Harvy canes and all Harvy canes I've seen had a max weight capacity of 250 lbs. Not sure why PCP posts on their website the 300 lb capacity, especially when their own paperwork reads 250 lbs. I had to send it back, there was no way I was trusting this holding me up. It's too bad, because it really is exactly what I was looking for as far as looks and style. If I had the money to burn to use it as a costume piece I would have kept it because it is beautiful. Wish they would make these with a 1" shaft so they could be more than a novelty.
Too Flexible. OK for Temporary Use

Ok for temporary use but not for long term. Ok for me for minor knee surgery. Made out of bamboo so I guess it can be called "Made out of Solid Wood" but its too flexible. My concern is that the cane could break.
RECOMMENDED.

Solid, strong and classy. Now I can fall down and break a bone with style!
I purchased the Duro-Med Wooden Cane-this is a much better cane.

Not Exactly What I Ordered, But...

The wooden cane is just like grandfather's old cane. It's decorated to look like stressed bamboo, but is made from an unidentified hardwood of some sort. The 'carving' in the description refers to a few odd lines carved in no particular design near the horn.

I ordered a cane with a large round handle, but the cane I received is barely four inches inside diameter at the crook. I wanted something wider, but I needed a cane so kept the one I was sent.

It's been very good in use. I need it as an aid to my balance and not for a support due to an injury or weak leg. The cain is fairly lightweight for being made of wood, with a slight flex to the shaft. It's capped off with a hard rubber tip.
