Simple and reliable.

Exactly what you need - a simple box to reliably keep a firearm protected from access/theft in any number of locations. The cable system makes them convenient to move from one vehicle to another - much safer than leaving a firearm in the glove box or console where a thief can easily break a cheap lock to get to it. Also good for flying with firearms - they meet the airline requirements for a locked box, and the cable system can attach to your luggage handle to make it more difficult for an unscrupulous airline worker to remove the box from your luggage. Loved that I could get two keyed-alike, so I can put one in my car and one in my wife's without having to carry two different keys to access them.

I would have given this purchase a 5 star had they arrived in perfect condition. The shipping box was undamaged but the safe boxes were nearly impossible to open, both of them. The front left corner of one box was pushed down and would not let the key turn the latch inside. With some careful yet forceful manipulation I was able to bump/pry the corner up to get the key to turn. The other box was not damaged but was so tight that I nearly broke off the key trying to get it open. Once open, I bent the latches a bit on both and now they work fine.

These safes are absolutely perfect. The two pack is ideal if you have two vehicles that you drive and don't want to have to carry two different keys on your ring. Super convenient. I am able to fit two sub compact pistols in this safe. It is very strong and does what it is intended to do very well. The security cables that comes with them are plenty long enough for any application.

Great concealed secure storage container. As advertised, (2) durable steel locking boxes with same key intended to secure pistols/revolvers in vehicles with locking cable attachment. However, consider storing cash, jewelry, and valuables by suspending the locked boxes with "Gun Magnets" (Two 25lb-35lb. magnets available on Amazon) under/behind desks, chairs, cabinets, furniture, etc.
Works Great! Box is totally concealed, contents are secure; yet very convenient and quick access. Simply grasp the box and slide or pull it off the magnetic mount. Only you know where the box is located. Simple "hide in plain sight" secure storage solution for under $25.

Nice Compact Firearm safe

I travel in camper and bought these to store a small Ruger LCP in one and ammunition in another which I can lock in the bed of my vehicle - I believe they should comply with the federal Firearm Owners Protection Act for interstate travel - I don't like having my firearm unloaded and locked up, but I'm hoping it will avoid problems as I travel through 'nanny' states -

They appear to be quite solidly constructed, the locks are reasonably substantial and should provide years of service - I am not worried about theft and forcible opening - Iam much more concerned about confiscation -

One nice feature, the top and the bottom of each contains two pieces of foam - removing one piece from top and bottom makes more room for a firearm and still leaves some foam cushion -
