Quality product, fantastic beam pattern
Cyndi Lou from Kalamazoo•February 26, 2018
I purchased these for my 09 F150. They have an excellent wide beam pattern that is unlikely to bother oncoming drivers. Very little light extends upward. All of the light is concentrated in a flat beam that extends well out to the side. These lights are so good, I can use them without my low beams at all, and be perfectly safe. I believe these are an ideal replacement for the typically ineffective OEM fog lights. The color temperature lights up road markings and lines very effectively. Animals on the side of the road are easily seen. A nice bonus is the excellent illumination to each side is very helpful when turning corners. Very high quality product, easy to install and the best DOT fog lights I've ever seen.
See the road better. See the deer BEFORE they are in your headlights!

Living in northern New York, these back country roads are dark, not to mention frequently visited by deer.... The stock lights on my 2000 Excursion work well enough (kind of), but these Rigid lights light up my world!
I have included a video. In it, I cycle through low and high beams, both with the Rigids on and off. The beam is strong in the front and even to the sides. The way I have them adjusted (and no oncoming traffic ever "high beams" me EDIT: They do occasionally, more so in urban areas), when they are on, when I switch my head lights from low beam to high beam, I can see the high beams come on, and I can see that they point farther down the road, but these Rigids are so bright that the difference between low and high bean is greatly decreased.
I'm not sure I explained that very well. Buy them and try them, you'll like them.

Excellent beam pattern

Best fog lights I've ever had on a vehicle. There're easy to aim to work for me the driver while not offending oncoming traffic. Rigid nailed it with this set of lights. I needed to mount them upside down for my application. I've had them on for several weeks now in less than ideal weather conditions here in Alaska. They've also survived many trips through a high pressure touch less car wash with zero issues. I'm so impressed with theses on my truck that I'm purchasing two more sets, one for my commuter car, and another for my wife's Outback.
Amazing!

After searching for weeks i finally narrowed it down to these over Retrofit Sources' led foglights due to the ease of mounting. These give a rectangular beam, but when angled downward will give the perfect throw. Super bright, super wide beam. Without covers, they put my retrofit projector hid's to shame. The light is super dense and concentrated within its pattern. My pictures dont do it justice. I paired these with rigids amber covers and are amazing. These are 1 of 2 foglight specific beams from rigid. I highly recommend these because of its pattern. Its not a flood like other led lights. These are foglight specific and SAE approved for on road use.
Don't leave home without them!

I frequently drive across Arizona's Mogollon Rim, which in winter means fog and snow, and in summer means occasional torrential rains and yes, fog upon occasion. And winter or summer, spring or fall, critters love to dance and prance on the shoulders--including elk, which you do not want to bump into at any speed.
I paired these with a set of Rigid driving lights and am quite pleased with their even, broad light which does not impinge on oncoming drivers' vision. As they are street-legal, they aren't the incredibly bright lights that the off-road variants offer, but are huge help on illuminating the shoulder and foreground. Wired them to my low beams but they were so nice that I added a manual switch to allow them to run with both high and low beams.
