I like it, but it's absolutely not "stainless steel"

I like it, but it's absolutely not "stainless steel". The entire body of it is made of reinforced light plastic with a chrome finish. I've only had it installed for a few days now, and I haven't seen any leakage or major strain. It doesn't look cheap, but it feels cheap. I have a 10" iGeek Rainfall Shower Disc installed on it, and it runs fine with and without the flow regulator installed, so it stands up to the pressure just fine.

ive only had it for 2 months, it was leaking a bit and i didn't mind, but the reason it was leaking was because the joint was falling apart!,. My shower head fell on my head as I showered! this is JUNK! stick to "STEEL" not something that looks like it!
Lightweight material but serves the purpose nicely!

Yes it's lightweight plastic. You just don't want to go using tools to overtighten this! The plumbing tape and washers came with it. Hand tightening was good enough with no leaks or any problems with installation or performance. It is coated plastic but you can't tell. Looks nice and so far it works good.

I have a 12 inch rainfall shower head, I purchased here on amazon that I really enjoy. But I seemed to have a problem with my water pressure to evenly distribute the water for all the water spouts. I purchased this item so it can 1. be more like a normal rainfall shower effect, and 2. so it an distribute the water evenly for an even pressure. I got it in the mail and installed it today, and I really like it. It perfectly is the right length to meet almost the middle of my shower, and evenly distributes the water perfectly, only downfall to the product is that its made of plastic so be very carful with when installing, it 100% feels very brittle, and shakes a lot when balancing the showerhead to the perfect height and angle. I think it will last long as long as its not touched or altered too often. overall I like it and I would recommend it to be purchased.

This arm is linked to "rainfall shower head by Happy Li" but it is NOT compatible with the head. It is extremely difficult to put on and it decreases your water pressure significantly. It may appear to raise the shower head high, it really is not when you are placing a 12 in. square device on it.
