A well made piece that my grandson loves. He is three years old and really into trains. He likes that this tunnel can be entered from both directions. We use it with a Brio set and it fits right in- no problem.

This is a great addition and adds interest for our 2yo. He loves sending the trains down through the trap door. It makes a satisfying whap when the door closes.
Best Wooden Train Set Pieces Ever

I came across Orbrium pieces when I was searching for Thomas the Train wooden train sets. I almost fainted at the prices for Thomas the Train. When I saw the adorable Orbrium pieces and their price being a fraction of Thomas sets/pieces, I took a chance and bought this tunnel. The quality is frankly better that Thomas the Train and you simply cannot beat the prices. To date we have almost all of their pieces.

My 2.5 year old played with a similar tunnel shaft with a Toys R Us display, so I knew she'd love her own. She loves to watch the trains coming out of the door. The door does swing in and out, so the trains can go either direction. The track inside the tunnel is a secured piece of the tunnel, but you can flip the curved entry track to be a descent from a higher hill. My daughter uses it with her Thomas Wooden Railway and it fits perfectly. I like that the side images are more realistic than whimsical because I think she'll get longer play out of it as she grows up. This tunnel is sturdy for a toddler's play, and fun. And it cost a lot less than the name brand Thomas equivalent.
