Mixes well but very, very weak flavor. Must use more than twice as much as they suggest for coconut milk flavor. I paid $17 for 6 pack envelopes and now it shot up to $27, so I won't be reordering it since it is such a weak powder and utilizes too much for one jug.

I tripped over this at a Sprouts. I love coconut and I love my coffee. I also like to go dairy free as much as possible. This makes the most delicious cup of coffee I have ever had. It makes great smoothies. It also makes a lovely coconut milk that I think has a stronger coconut flavor than any canned coconut milk I have ever purchased. There are instructions on the package on how to make coconut milk out of it for cooking or baking. Curry anyone?

I took this camping and it worked so well. It will certainly be in my backpack when I go hiking. I can now have a good cup of coffee on the trail without breaking my back or my wallet! I paid almost four dollars for one package at Sprouts. By purchasing six on Amazon, I saved over $1.50 a bag. I have been able to share this wonderful product with my staff and family.

Some have complained that it is lumpy in cold water. Of course it is lumpy in cold water! Coconut naturally has fat and we all know that fat and cold do not make blending easy. There are two work arounds for this. First, you can use a blender or hand mixer. Second, you can mix it into hot water to dissolve and then cool off. Both ways work equally well. From what I have heard, the powdered coconut milk that does blend easily into cold liquid contains additional ingredients and a lot less coconut flavor. Who wants that? Native Forest Coconut Milk Powder contains only three ingredients and is kosher. I am happy to have clumps and not sacrifice flavor or my health.

I am sensitive to both guar gum and xanthan gum, which is widely found in many brands of coconut milk. I'm so glad that I found this coconut milk powder, so that I can mix my own coconut milk. I add 2-3 tablespoons into a cup of boiling water, and the powder dissolves well.
Sometimes, I add a tablespoon of black sesame powder (found at many Chinese and Korean supermarkets), and it makes a delicious beverage.

I really like this product! I bought it for a shelf stable vegan coffee creamer. It works fairly well, although the coffee needs to be rather hot to really dissolve it. You can tell it is indeed real coconut milk, leaving a coconut oil like film in your coffee. I usually put coconut oil in my coffee, that's nit needed when I use this. I have also blended it with frozen fruit and almond milk, it adds a very nice creaminess. The suggested serving size is 1tbs, that barely lightens my coffee. Do know if you like your coffee light or coconut creamy, you will need about three servings in which fat and calories do add up if that is something of concern for you. I will be ordering again. Great product to have on hand at home to add to rice, smoothies, etc and keep in purse, backpack, or car when you want coffee and there's no vegan creamer options. Great price for amount! Will order again!

This works great as a healthier version of Coffee Mate for those of us that are lactose intolerant. Really makes coffee and tea creamy and delicious! It is sort of chunky when you first open it, but I just put the whole (closed) bag on a countertop after opening it and hit it a few times with a meat tenderizer, which breaks up the lumps right away.
