Bring back memories, omg its like my childhood came back. Brought the star down because i realized when you eat it every day the spice is too much. Back home ( England) years ago there was no spice, i wish i can buy the bun without spice.

I'm addicted to this stuff. My cousin brought me a couple of loaves from Jamaica, and now I think about it all the time. The flavor is unusual, with dried fruit and spices and a texture you wouldn't expect - it's really chewy. In Jamaica they eat it with a particular canned cheese, which I haven't tried but I adore it with or without butter. Amazon sells this from a bakery in New York, and it's perfect. Exactly the same as the loaves from Jamaica. Unfortunately, with the shipping it's really pricey, so I need to learn how to make it myself.

Truly, an excellent product. Fresh, moist and firm! I have to control myself not eat it too quickly. Will order again.
One order, the box was beaten up by USPS and the buns were partially musched. I called the company directly, explained the issue and they promptly sent replacement buns.
UPDATE: Amidst this quarantine I decided to order this product again. I was concerned with the amount of shipping time Amazon has been posting. Amazon posted Friday the 15th for the earliest arrival. The Buns were shipped on Monday the 10th and arrived Wednesday 2 days earlier. The Buns were fresh moist and firm! I continue to be pleased with the service from this supplier!
