Got this for my cockatiel after his budgie friend passed away. He's never lived without another bird before, so he's really appreciating this one even if it's fake.
It's uncomfortably loud for me, but this can be fixed by covering the speaker with something.
The problem I'm having now... where and how to hang it up so that he can see it and activate it by himself?

Kind of realistic. It's plastic. But the bird looks almost real and has nice movement. Definitely just for fun. The bird sings several different songs at pretty high volume. It might be fun to have it outside. You can turn it on and off, which is good. Wouldn't want to be hearing it go off all the time, as it has a motion sensor.

This Chirping/Dancing Bird is a most entertaining device! I received one as a gift. And then I ordered a couple more for my friends. I placed mine in our garden where its chirping is so real that it invites all types of other birds. Amazing, truly amazing!!!
