Awesome ice cubes!
Maureen H.•October 26, 2017
These trays make the biggest ice cubes I've ever seen. If you live in a hot climate as I do, you'll definitely appreciate these trays. I take a large double-wall insulated cup to work every morning filled with either sweet tea or cold brewed iced coffee. The ice cubes I get from the fridge do not last very long. But these cubes are jumbo sized and last a good long while.
Now you may be thinking that your beverage will be watered down, and you're correct. But when I consider how often I have to add the wimpy refrigerator cubes to my drink to keep it cold, I think it's about the same. I brew extra strong tea and coffee to make up for the melting ice. And in the evening when I mix an adult beverage, I simply add extra alcohol! But my beverage stays cold even in the South Texas heat! Trust me, you'll love these ice trays as much as I do. Check out the two pictures for a comparison; I used a standard 5oz. can of tuna for scale.
Oh, one more thing, to the people complaining about how they can't get the cubes out of the tray, I cannot imagine how you've managed to survive in this world. Seriously, it's just a freaking ice cube tray, not a Rubik's Cube!

All of these silicone ice cube trays are a terrible idea!

I thought the concept was cool but I can't get out the ice cubes after they form at a glacial pace for half a day due to the insulating nature of the silicone. Push from the middle of the soft silicone bottoms, they said...nope, it doesn't work at all. I always ended up twisting and turning, pushing from all sides, and manhandling these with my fingers for minutes which nobody wants to do as that's unsanitary.
On the very first day after using these I decided to try freezing mugs and glasses filled 40% with distilled water. The DW froze about 5 times faster and worked great to form a much bigger ice cube. That's all you need to do folks. Don't ever bother with ice cube trays and manhandling ice cubes with your fingers again.
Reading through the reviews it seems the majority of the world doesn't understand the concept of distilled water; at least mineral flakes weren't a problem due to me using distilled water.

Awesome Giant Cubes of Ice
Jessica H.•January 4, 2017
These trays make great HUGE ice cubes that don't water down drinks like average ice cubes. We have been using these trays for over a month, have refilled them at least a dozen times and have had no problems whatsoever with these trays. No pieces of silicone stuck to the ice cubes and no white flakes or residue in the trays or from the ice cubes. We originally bought the trays to make ice balls, but they were a pain to fill. These are awesome! And guests love them too! Highly recommended.
Easy to Use and Works Well

These are awesome. I normally ask for drinks without ice at restaurants because I hate when it waters down a drink, especially pop. Other products I've used include the ice sphere molds, but those are difficult to fill; and the stainless and soapstone scotch rocks, but the cooling effect doesn't last long. These cubes do melt a little at first, obviously, but not like regular sized cubes or crushed ice. I'll finish a drink long before a cube will ever completely melt. They're really easy to fill and the cubes are easily removed. I've had no experience of a funny taste.
This thing is great. Got this about a month ago

This thing is great. Got this about a month ago, I had a poker tournament set up at my house last week. Had about 12 people over, and i had 32 cubes of ice made. (note that it took about 9hrs for cubes to form). I put them in zip-lock bags and we played for about 11hrs and everyone had couple of drinks. You only need 1 cube for a drink and each cube should last you for about two drinks! I still had couple of cubs left after the game was done. Only thing you need to keep in mind is that because these are larger than normal ice cubes they take a long time to form, so plan it accordingly. I may get one more set.. lets see.
