I had the set for a few months now but finally put it up in my kitchen. Looks good! Fun to look at! I didn't think I would actually use it. I honestly bought it just for looks. One day I'm using my butcher knife out of my knife block and it was so dull. I sharpened it several times on different occasions to no avail. Since I finally put these new knives up I grabbed the butcher knife and used it. It cuts perfect for me. The blade is so sharp. Compared to my other knife that has a serrated edge, this one has a straight blade which makes a big difference. I didn't want to use these knives on the regular because I feel for the price they're bound to wear out sooner than later, so I just was going to use my old knives and use these as decorations for my kitchen. But I can't resist the sharpness of this set. I don't know how long the color will last if used on a daily basis though. I'm no chef (I hate cooking...lol) so I won't be using them too often or vigorously so keep that in mind also. If you throw down in the kitchen you might want to invest in something a lil more pricier, but at this price, you definitely get your moneys' worth. If you don't like it, it's just a few dollars lost. Thanks for reading!

Really bad knives. I read the reviews and saw that it had a good rating a bought the knives, but they are a total ripoff. The knives are blunt already (they were not too sharp to begin with.) Also, the paint peels off very easily, and probably will get into the food that you are cutting.. Not recommended

These are wonderful! The first time I used one of the knives I was amazed at how the blame slid through the meat with little effort on my part. Everyone needs a set like this. I read that people are accidently injured by dull knives far more often than sharp knives. Plus,the colors are bright and cheery. I bought the matching cookware set a few months ago and now the knives. Very happy with all of the products.

Wish the wall magnet was a touch stronger as they are easy to knock down if you aren't careful!

Been using these for nine months and one just broke for the first time. Otherwise still love this set for the price.

The knives are great and visually appealing - I have 3 daughters and I wanted to brighten up the kitchen. I bought this because I have a small kitchen and the only option is to go vertical. I've always wanted to try this anyway.
I've only had these less than a month so I can't comment on how they keep an edge and how the sharpener works. I think my only drawback: The magnetic strip is just barely strong & long enough to keep everything together. I mounted it on the side of a kitchen cabinet, so I added some longer & slightly thicker screws and a piece of scrap wood behind it. It's pretty solid.
