I constantly struggled trying to get it on and off by myself. The straps were bulky and hard to get comfortable and baby complained every time he was in it. Back carrying was so much more complicated. Even with two of us we would struggle to get baby in and out of it. Returning for a better carrier.

Bought and used this for my trip across the country. I had extremely close connections at several airports and I knew my 23 month old needed to be carried to keep up. I was traveling alone with a backpack, coats and blankie, pillow, and carry on bag, along with purse. And I had a checked bag. I had my hands full. This carrier made it so I could carry him hands free so I could handle all the luggage, and offered so many options of ways to wear him. I chose hip and he was very comfortable, as was I. I have had several different carriers but this one takes the cake. The back support is a game changer. I also bought the "tummy pad" that is sold separately that helped the hip strap not push in on my tummy. Most comfortable I have ever been wearing my little. I will say that I breathes ok, but not amazing. But, I was speed walking through the airport so I was bound to get hot.
Did not seem ergonomic for my daughter...she was basically doing the splits

I am plus size, and gained an extra 35 lbs. with my 3rd DD (now around a size 22). I bought this to use with the extender strap and because our Ergo does not allow front facing. I don't know if it's my size or what, but my 6 month old daughter does not look comfortable in this. Her legs are basically doing the splits when I tried it on. So she refused to wear it.

Ordered the Toki Doki design and I love it! Well made, the design looks great. The straps are sturdy. Yes I do need help to strap the back when I put in baby so I can't really put it on alone. And yes the complaint that other reviewers say about the baby having the legs spread pretty wide to fit in is true. I put a rolled up blanket inside for extra cushion and it worked and my babies legs were more comfortable. My baby happily slept in it on my chest while at Disney World. No problems!
