Excellent quality parts and appearance. Installation is moderately challenging: if you are not comfortable with measuring, drilling, and installation of this product, make sure you have help.
Downside was the fit of the door was not correct for my sliding doors and this was not noted on the materials. Customer service couldn't have been less helpful; flippant would be an apt discreptor. Fortunately, I had a Dremel tool that I used to shave two extruding edges and created a good fit. But this was due to me figuring out a simple solution - the company line was, "Sorry."

It was a bit of work to get it in and to fit, it needs better weather stripping. Since its winter time the original door flap was not a good seal so we had to order the heavier one to close better for cold weather and that was $75 more. Plus this door is not easily removable. If I had to do over I would have bought the more expensive one that is double pained and removable. But you get what you pay for as the saying goes..... but I am glad we have a doggie door!
Very well made and usable. A good kit for our kittens.

This is a very well-made and sturdy product. It slipped right into place in our vinyl sliding door, and seems very secure there (it does not rattle or wobble at all). It did take me a bit of futzing around in order to get a good, air-tight seal between the pet door and our sliding glass door, but all the parts are there to make it work. One of our cats was in a hurry and was trying to use it before I had even finished putting it in place. Our other cat was initially raised feral before we took her in and had her fixed, and she is suspicious of everything (they're all out to get me), so it took her a week to learn to use it; now, she goes in and out frequently.

This was a perfect purchase for a pet door. We have a small dog (Jack Russel) and I wanted something that fit her, fit my vinyl sliding door and I didn't want to permanently install it. This hit every mark. I cut the top slide-on to fit, added some foam weather striping and I just put this in every morning and take it out at night. It was perfect!

A very nice pet door but it did not fit in our track. They should let customers know the width of it. I ordered it specifically because it was for vinyl and was very sad that it didn't work out for us.
