The product is a nice and sturdy L shaped bracket that I was looking for to install shelves in an antique armoire. The only thing I would suggest is that the size be written on the box. I actually thought that I ordered 1/4 inch but received 5mm. I did measure the stud before I drilled the holes so there was not a problem in the installation.

These were perfect. So much easier to order something like this from Amazon than take a special trip to the hardware store to pick them up! Our shelves were previously supported with the pegs that came with the unit (an IKEA unit) and kept slipping through the supports and falling. These new "bracket style" pegs support the shelves so much better.

These are fantastic little pegs, and they solved our problem perfectly. We have an Ikea Hemnes bookshelf and were facing the same shelf collapse problems that lots of people are experiencing (https://www.amazon.com/Ikea-Hemnes-Bookcase-Black-brown-Solid/dp/B00B3VK7QM?ie=UTF8&ref_=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top) because the pegs that come with the bookcase aren't really long enough to reliably support the shelves. We ordered these pegs as a replacement and they are much sturdier and provide a lot more surface area for the shelves to rest on. We haven't had any problems since getting them installed!
