Very good product

I was concerned about reviews stating they couldn't back up this sweeper. Easy as pie. Maybe because I'm accustom to operating large farm equipment. But, this unit backs as well as all other sweepers I'v owned.
Had a problem with one of the button snap-on bars. The pop-up button would not pop up after inserting into the female bar. Solved problem by removing the spring steel pop-up from the bar, and cleaning out the pop-up hole, in the bar, with a drill. Re-installed the pop-up and walla ! She works like a charm.
Oh; BTW, this sweeper picks up pine cones very well (except for those very large ones), but doesn't do very well with dry elm tree leaves.

This was an entertaining challenge to assemble -- I actually enjoyed it. When it is set correctly, this thing is AWESOME to pick up bits and bobs on the lawn or on the driveway.

I have had two other sweepers. I have used the Ohio Steel sweeper multiple times to get performance feedback before rating.
There are two primary factors I really like about the Ohio Steel sweeper. The first being the cool design that allows the quick separation of the bag portion from the front. It helps with storage and removal of anything that gets entangled. The second item is its ability to sweep up large pine cones. This has been a big year for pine cones and they are everywhere. Unlike my previous sweepers where I had to go and pick up the pine cones before using the sweeper, the Ohio Steel sweeper can do it. What a time saver.
The only moderate complaint is the instructions did not have as good clarity on the pictures/diagrams to easily understand the installation process.

It's a very good tool, does a great job brushing the lawn so I don't have to rake up the grass clippings. Nice thing is when I swap out the riding mower I don't have to get the bagger for the new one. It is heavy but I'm guessing that's one reason its effective and an indication it's made from solid material.
