I have hard wood floors and this sweeper works well on them. I gave some 4 stars because it does not get all the dirt along the edge of the wall and doesn't fit under all my furniture. I got it after I had knee surgery and had to use a cane for a while. I could use this sweeper while holding on to my cane, so it would be good for someone with a similar problem. Very light weight and easy to move around the floor.
