This product showed up on time and box in good shape. This has been a great addition to our above ground 18' Intex pool. We attached it to our stairs that we built. Makes it much easier to enter and exit the pool. When the kids get a great whirlpool going it does start to float a bit, but stay put. I know some people use sand bags, but don't feel like we really need to do that.
Save your money. Not worth it.

These stairs are very flimsy. I weigh well under the weight limit and it still feels like it is buckling. The railings wobble and are very weak. The door in front of stairs where you place the weight keeps coming off. The 2 foot pads that go towards the rear of the stairs keep coming off and when they are on the stairs rock back and forth. Save your money and buy something better. Wasted $160 on this garbage and still need to buy better ones. Not worth it.

I ordered one of these 12 years ago. Through use and abuse, it finally gave up as the plastic became brittle. So, I ordered another one and so far, it's doing great. It's not the absolute best stairs but it's great at this price point.

These steps were part of our above-ground pool purchase in 2006. In 2016, after chlorine and sun damage (and a few extra hefty guests), they started to crack. We visited our local pool store, and this exact model of replacement was being sold for $598. Thanks to Innovaplas, we saved quite a bit of money. Great quality. We have an above-ground pool with a deck around the top. My husband 'cut off' the ladder,' leaving a 6" length handles lower than the decking, and simply lowered the handles into the holes on the composite decking. This is an excellent quality pool stair steps. We put a 50 lb bag of sand in the third step (it's made to hold the sand) which helps to keep the stairs submerged. You'll need to replace the sand bag each year, otherwise algae/mold will form in the bag.
