I got this for our Doberman puppy to help with her ears healing and being posted as she can not get them wet. At 9 weeks old it was no problem for her to get used to it. I have removed the chain. I just keep her on a short leash and hold it over her. Works great.

A bit shoddy and awkward. Will do the trick if you have a small dog. The slim chain leash that attaches your dog to the umbrella is quite short and what you hold is a weak umbrella handle. Not suitable if you are disabled and/or use any device to help you walk.

UNLIKE ONE I HAD PURCHASED FROM PETCO YEARS AGO THIS UMBRELLA IS LACKING ONE IMPORTANT FEATURE THE HANDLE IS NOT LONG ENOUGH AND IS NOT FLEXIBLE I HAVE A S***ZU AND I AM 5'4! So I HAVE TO BEND OVER AT LEAST EXTEND THE LENGTH OF THE CHAIN THAT ALONE WOULD BE A GREAT IMPROVEMENT
